  • Thumbs up if yoteslaya brought u here

  • rainbow bones?!

  • what's the name of the song played?

  • @RoxySeptember24

The Music is from The film "The Mission " ...... title called Gabriels Oboe , by Ennio Morricone

  • @hjdnad thanks so much!

  • This is definitely one of the places I'll want to visit if I ever go to France. It's a shame only a part of it is open to the public, but it makes sense considering you'd probably be screwed if you lost your way down there. I've heard this song in before, but I can't place it. What's it called?

  • if you want shock vaule then look at scariest places on earth and their investigation to a man who went missing in the catacombs. if you look at it through a historical point of view this is what you get and its nice so scary anymore. its quite sad if you think about it. your last resting place is in a dark, dank tunnel being treated like sewage.

  • The legal bit is tiny compared to the forbidden networks.

  • I think some of you are missing the point...if you want a "spooky", "Scary" film go rent a horror. These are real peoples' graves and as such if the dude who made this video wants to use non-scary music then why should that bother you so much?

  • Thanks for your comment ... I said my first impression , ( on initially seeing the bones etc ) was a bit spooky , it was not my intention to make a "spooky film ."..

I felt it was worth putting on You Tube , in order to let people decide for themselves if they wanted to go there , when visiting Paris ..... Having said that the entrance to the Catacombs is not easy to find .. but they are well worth a visit .. a very quiet place

The tunnels were used by the French Resistance in WW2

  • You had some nice video clips, however the choice of music was very poor. I am dissapointed with it, because it just ruins the mood of the catacombs.

  • I agree, its a scary place and some very scary music and sound FX would be great. I do love the video FX of this. Please sort the music out tho :)

    IKS

  • what was the catacombs used for??

  • They are in the catacombs because of Paris's every growing cemetery overcrowding. So there solution to this was to dig up old graves and dump them in a area where they can't be seen.

  • that's just the legal part :(

  • omg u even got a child in there

  • you wont read about this in the history books but ... the reason for the catacombs is that back in medieval times a demon from hell attacked paris and killed like 5 million people. they put the bodies down in the catacombs.

  • Yeah because millions of people lived in cities at that time :D

  • i just silenced this and put in marilyn manson, it goes much better

  • iv been down in the catacombs and the do look like that there dark scary creepy and you just want to get the hell out

  • This music sucks ass.

  • This not one Fiction. This is one fack, or more realy, One museum of this part of the History of Paris.

The real underground zone of paris is not one "dead zone". This is one carrer of stony.

This is the real Unnoficial Catacombes of Paris. ...

Serching in google "catacombes de paris" and see all. If you see Dare human beings, or cranes piled properly, if walls straight and which at enter it in keeping of office... This not the good underground, ha ha ha

  • And for there never see when try at catacombs. Then go to there and see yourself for. Find bones and no cameras can flash in tunnels see it. All your base are belong to us.

  • But who was phone?

  • What is the history of this place? Does anyone have a detail on that?

  • When Paris ran out of places to bury bodies, they dug em all up again and put them all in these catacombs. there's about 7 million people there or something.

  • whts the name of this song playing ??? i like it

  • Its the soundtrack...to gabriels message? Not sure of that title, but it's from a movie made in the 80's about missionaries in Canada. I like it too.

  • actually missionaries in south america... it's called the mission

  • That's right! "The Mission"...very good! I still wonder if it was about South America or N. America...but regardless, you are correct.

That musician, whoever he or she was had a fly by night with that tune. Great music.

  • I just looked a couple things up...S. America is correct. The musician is Ennio Morricone. No wonder.

  • I have been many times in Paris, but never visit this part, next time I´ ll have to do.

    Very interesting Video

  • It is a bit spooky when you first see the bones , but then you start to wonder what they all did when they were alive .... it seems a shame that they all had to end up here the way they are, instead of being left at rest where they were first buried .......

  • I have to agree. The history of man is strange imdeed. Like 'they' always say: truth is stranger than fiction.

  • yeah it sucks having their parts seperated vastly

  • Wow, interesting, spooky too!!!!
