  • @LAOK242 No prob

  • When adding color using a less than 100 opacity method, does the saturation automatically drop in the image? For example, if you use a 40% opacity green, does PS grey down the strokes versus using a 100% opacity green and picking the color you wish to use? I'm trying to pinpoint why my images tend to get really muddy. I think I've watched all your videos to date, and you've been a great help! Thanks!

  • @evesweater Let's put this this way. If you hesitate, it won't be clear. If you have that problem, try using solid 80-100% opacity, avoid soft brush, and stop noodling in one spot for too long.

  • saya sangat terbantu dengan tutorial ini untuk mengajarkan kepada siswa saya di sekolah Second year old

  • You've probably already answered this a hundred time over, but I would really like to know what your preferred method is for blending colors during the rendering process. Thanks in advance and great work.

  • How do you go about choosing your colors? Do you have swatches of colors that work together?

  • @cjpul1 You mean palettes as in traditional painting? Yes. check your pm.

  • @BitFrost Thank you, we love happy customers. ;-)

  • Hey dude i have a tablet but i can't paint on it realistically but i can draw in pencil quite well. can i become a concept artist if pencil is my artistic medium?

  • @jmacksoni You can only wish. I guess you can back in the 90's Nowadays movies and video games require digital mediums and it is very competitive. Good luck. ;-)

  • @idrawgirls My main issue is that i cang get the area to blend is there an easy way to creat the effect of a blending stub on Table?

  • @jmacksoni I don't know, depending on what kind of tablet and software you have. Some tablet has no pressure sensitive. You have to find that out yourself.

  • @jmacksoni its all about practice dude! and a quality tablet really helps too!

  • I've been planning to buy a wacom tablet now.... what tablet would you recommend for a biginner with a bit low budget (150-200$) ... would Bambo Fun Tablet would do a good job?

  • @azyellow333

I own a bamboo, intuos 3 and intuos 4, they're all the same except for the price. So yeah, it's good.

  • @GnaReffotsirk Size does matter, the bigger the more surface and easier to work on.

  • @GnaReffotsirk

thanks. I'll just go for a bambo fun thing now and will upgrade in the future if needed.... thanks :)

  • Man i love your Mongol/Tatar paintings they look amazing.

  • Oh nice, thank you :)

  • That colour palette, brilliant.

  • I've been watching your tutorials for a while now and they are really helpful, thank you!

What really astonishes me is your drawing style. It's kinda scribbly but you also manage to point out the important parts of the picture, you guide the eye of the viewer. That very good, because I think you also save time by using this technique.

Keep on dude, it's great! :)

  • thank`s this was very useful , i would like to have that pallet ..

    mabey someone asked already ,

before you started coloring, you put in a overlay? i tryed with bucket fill and than 50% , but the result never turnes out the way i want to,..when you do it it seems so easy..do you have a tutorial for that?

    have a nice day

  • @linda21feb Your question is simple but yet you make it sounds too complex. Yes I have over 100 of tutorials on my channel and my blog. Have you read and watch them all? Shapes, values, and edges.

  • @idrawgirls

well i have seen a lot of them ,.but no i am gonna search for that one , thank you

  • @linda21feb Sure thing, You are welcome.

  • @linda21feb he started monochromatic and used a blue color on overlay in the background to get more color,

other than that the other coloring is done on normal, with 70-80% opacity.

basically you start in a monochromatic tone, and the background is also beige-ish, but you want it blue. then you use overlay with blue (like Xia did) and it will make it blue, without having to change the values.

  • @RickonDraw

thank you for this anwser, very useful .

    greetings

  • Thanks alot for all of the tutorials, u are a great artist.

  • thx ;) nice tutorial

  • Awesome, do you or will you have a brush tutorial?

  • great tutorial - can you please send me that palette - I'm really new to digital drawing and it would be really helpful to have starting off. thanks

  • @llLaughingManll The palette link is in the description.

  • can you draw with a mouse?

  • @plateker mouse? why? It was not made for drawing. Can you draw with a Sneaker?

  • @idrawgirls That comment made my day. Thank you.

  • @idrawgirls lol, if the sneaker has a pencil attached to it then yes xD

  • @plateker Yes you can see here: h t t p :// forums (dot) cgsociety (dot) org / showthread.php?f=137&t=672440

Take note of how much time it took him to complete it though, this may have been a lot faster with a tablet.

  • @plateker yep you can, i could direct you to some of the things I have done with a mouse. I have been using a mouse ever since I started digital drawing and people say my drawings look good. "Because a carpenter has the best tools doesn't mean he is the best carpenter" :)

  • @zxgeneration painting w/ mouse - its time-consuming n not ergonomic for ur wrist.. if u wanna do this long term, be it for leisure or pro practice, use a pressure sensitive tablet. think for ur wrist. :)

  • @plateker oh come on don't be stupid man. everybody can draw with a mouse. I can do it. It is just not as convenient as a tablet pen. :S

  • @plateker If you thinking about doing it with muse, this tutorial is not for you. Peace! ;-)

  • looks like a mongol or a khan

  • @DucksFromHell He is Temujin's Father
