It isn't exactly liberal. It is more issue-obsessed. It chooses a few "key" issues per year and dedicates weeks/months beating the topic to death without inttroducing much more news. Reports on events abroad (wars/conflicts/peace missions/environmental developments/scientific advancements) are mostly ignored unless they are selected for obsession.

And by doing research, check out who sponsors your candidate. Whoever contributes the big money is who "your" candidate listens to. Typically the Bilderberg club, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission are big contributers. These large private interests are not the interests of the average American citizen. Obama is a CFR member.

However, the facts remain that he has expanded the Patriot Act, initiated an AmeriCorps, is pushing to create a compulsory 3-month youth servitude to the government, and is increasing wiretapping (more than Bush). Please understand that the President, regardless of party, is controlled by private financial interests (CFR, Bildeberg, and Trilateral Commission) that contributed big money during election and expect big returns.
