This song is the ultimate fusion of black metal elements: You've got strong keyboard melodies ala early Dimmu, sweeping Emporer-esque high flying guitar work, powerful vocals and folk chants, and if you listen at 5:15 you get the distinctive Thorns guitar tone.

Moonsorrow is an extremely talented band who knows their proper roots unlike so many these days.
