  • well... i think that with sound everything its better! :/

  • I'm not really clear on Bandura's experiment.

a percentage of each group hit the doll.

they were shown to hit a doll. a doll designed for hitting

they were encouraged to hit the doll, specifically. so, it really doesn't make much sense.

What they should have done, is give the child other dolls, after watching the adult attack the bobo. to see whether the child acted violently on the toys that were not identical to the bobo doll. it's a punching bag with a face. what else is it for?

  • Watch this with "Glass Table Girls"- The Weeknd, Playing in the backround :D

  • Why don't you just delete it!!

  • Can't hear the video

  • seriously though...Bobo really needs to learn to just stay down and stop taking it

  • Is anyone else having problems hearing the volume on this video?

  • @seabreezelandscape Yeah, I can't hear a thing.. Sadly I can't lip read either :(

  • @seabreezelandscape you obviously don't read the info bar....

  • do they footage of the test with the real live clown?

  • this video has no sound:O(

  • This experiment lacks so much ecological validity

  • @blackonyx17 In what way?

  • @MTAllenby The first part is the fact they use a bobo doll. They are designed in a way that the only way to play with it is either to hit it, or to rock it side to side. The second part that they sort of manipulated children, (in the book it said that the children were allowed to play with the dolls and then had them taken away and said that the toys were for other children), so they agitated children and the children took the anger on the dolls

  • @blackonyx17 True. Like many experiments this one held as many variable constant as possible while manipulating one. All children had access to the bobo doll and all children were agitated. Only those who witinessed very specific acts of violence incorporated those acts into their play with the bobo doll. This seems quite strong evidence for an effect of social modelling on violent behaviour.

  • @MTAllenby :DDDDDDDDD

  • @blackonyx17 Cheers. Glad I could cheer you up ;-)

  • Poor Bobo Doll.

That kid looks scary as hell !

  • this is not right..they are very mean to that doll..the doll should attack the kids

  • Where can I download it from? =)

  • y is there no sound

  • I wish I was that doll.

  • haha.. never judge a book by it's cover.. look how innocent that lil girl is..but... hehehe

  • That girl is so agresive! o_O At first I tought boy would be the one who is more agresive.

  • Bandura... :)

  • which site did you get it from?

  • that girl is a mental case, she is crazy!!

  • no she isnt...

this was all bandura's experiment, who said that our behaviour is directly influenced by our environment. this girl saw a video where a adult kicked and beat up the doll.

she saw this happening and copied this environmental behaviour. no mental case, only influenced by environment :)

  • Ahahahaha xD

  • I downloaded this from another site and it was in a format that could not be edited by movie maker. So I uploaded it onto you tube, so that I could download it again, changing the format as I did so.

When I uploaded it, the sound was gone. There was sound on the original - so sorry, I think you tutor is a little conspiracy happy!

  • @lewisgriffin didn't you think that maybe some people would've actually been interested in link of the site you download the video from (with the sound)

Anyways, thanks for sharing, Im really upset about the no sound thing though :((

  • theres no sound becuase apparently they wher told to do this.. u can hear some kid on the original say "is this the doll where ment to hit " ?? im media student btw so nt my words , my tutors XD lol

  • You have a media tutor?

  • Yeah, no sound :-(

  • theres a version WITH sound, also on youtube,

and kprice1990, i think your tutor may be stupid...

because obviously you dont know nothing about that experiment... sucks to be you...

  • where is the version with sound? no can find

  • yea...couldn't hear anything, bummer

  • Where's the SOUND ?

  • Gross, did you see his nose? It looks like he was exposed to massive amounts of radiation.

  • @cameronsmart1 Well, your parents did a great job raising you to judge people on their looks, rather than their worth as a person. Of course, what can we expect from someone who has only cage fighters on his profile? For someone called Cameron SMART, you're not living up to the name.
