Well think about... an MP5 is a close quarters weapon. When I running in spraying people, I might go down inside a building. The Martydom is like a insurance policy that pays off 25% of the time. Starting off you will have 120 rounds for the MP5 and the only the clip in the side arm. How many rounds do you need when starting off? Just find another weapon on the ground. oh, dont forget to throw somw gerandes...

Yeah ive tried experimenting with my perks but personally i think that those work best for me. I do Ground War a lot and often find im reloading with 2/3 people firing at me so thats why i use Sleight of Hand. Dead Silence makes a big difference for me but thats only on small maps, for big ones i use Extreme Conditioning

The main difference between the MP5 and lets say the P90 is the MP5 does a ridiculous amount of damage per bullet, has almost no kickback , and doesn't even need to be unlocked, you get it as soon as you start. I honestly couldn't care less if I got by like... a lvl 17 non-prestige. He should be using to even the playing field. But when I see guys like this god knows how high of a rank, using a RED TIGER MP5, (if you have red tiger that means you spend too much time with a noob weapon) its gay

Actually mp5 kills three bullets to the chest. Just use mp5 no attachment, stopping power and you will see how amasing it is. Thats what alot of pros use, because no attachment does bonus damage.

And the only reason the MP5 is unlocked early is because IW wanted to give the starting players the most balanced guns early on not the best/ most powerful.

The reason the most overpowered guns are given early on is because IW wanted to even the playing field so that of course starting players would be able to at least stand somewhat of a chance against high level players. I'd have to say Mp5 is better than P90 for 1v1 or 2v1 encounters, still possible to handle 3v1 but not nearly as reliable as the P90 in that situation.

The P90's large clip makes the gun perfect for close quarter combat, especially against groups of enemies when you have no time to reload.

Arguing over which of the 2 is better, well thats just plain stupid. Reason being, it all depends on the circumstances.

Well the 74u and mp5 are both tied for bullet damage with and without stopping power and the mp5 also has more accuracy when firing from the hip without steady aim (with steady aim they are tied again), so mp5 is better statistically, but 74u is still my fav. Agreed on the mini uzi though.

Where did you get the statistics because I would swear that the 74 gets better bullet pen, more distance/damage, and more over all damage.  I would swear it. I usally role with Ak 74 silenced Bando/SP/DS an I know when I chain kill I'm reloading a lot less with the AK then the MP5 and can count on the short bursts... I know the hip fire is less then MP5 but when down the sights it feels the same.

imo you get more kills with lower streaks, meaning you get 7 kills, call in the radar, strike, and choppa, then die, then do it all over again. more radars, strikes, and choppaz. :)

lol yeah i just went 30-8 on the map Strike about an hour ago. we lost 750-740 (my team was a bunch of tards except for me) and i was kinda pissed. called in the choppa 2 times, which got me about 13 kills total. the rest was my sniper ownage. lol
