i'm laughing a chuckle composed entirely of gallow's humor at Chomsky around 9:45 when he mentions how the USA must look to other countries. i'm beginning to wonder if the arabic nations think we're as crazy as we've traditionally thought they were.
btw, i've never been interested these matters, but i'd be amazed if the 911 conspiracy theorists haven't embraced Chomsky (much to his chagrin i bet). he makes a compelling case americans are easier to control if they're frightened.
If Chomsky were to research the Venus project; the economic and social aspects and see that the solutions are scientifically sound, he would most assuredly support it.
