where does pav learnt lot of opera?... with his father who taught him to sing?.... didnt know anything and learnt him self rolling the years?.... hundred of arias by diferents operas and he knew most of all. Does his father (fernando) had the knowledge as well as him?
I think Adina here is Rene Grist - think I have a complete recording of Pavarotti&Grist in Elisire somewhere... its perfect! One of the best roles of Lucianno for sure!
@ILoveTobin Hehe--not difficult for a man who can chew gum and sing at the same time! (I always was reprimanded by my choir teacher for doing that---still do!)

OK, I know Adina is played by Kathleen Battle, and obviously Nemorino is played by Pavarotti, but who is the Belcore???

The perfect example of biting off more than you can chew! Not only was Luciano a wonderful singer, he was a great character and we miss him.

where did you get this? it's lovely. Pavarotti makes it look easy to sing opera so fast with an apple in your mouth. :D

I love that Pav actually *ate* some of the apple. He's literally spewing pieces of it all over the place by the end. Lucky he didn't choke!
