  • y would you go in there man??

  • It would be much better if u just kept recording

  • The joys of a discovery, nice one, hope the seats have dried out by now.

  • just get your gear off and jump in ya pussy!

  • good old 300tdi :D

  • It's good to see how tough these Land Rovers are. I'm thinking of buying one, having a look at one Sunday. We need a 4x4 in these parts, because of all the road flooding. QLD, Australia

  • @rancox265

Be sure you snorkle fitted :D

and keep good parts support, land-rover parts are very cheap (in England google paddock or lrdirect) compared to toyota&co., the 200/300tdi are quite reliable no nonsense no electronics

  • Looked like you used a towball? Just FYI you should never snatch someone out using a towball, very dangerous thing to do. Use a Bow Shackle instead. . .

  • Wouldn't it have been easier to get wet trousers wading thro the water rather than opening the door and letting the water in?

  • @JuicyJaffa don't know if your on a wind up but land rovers arn't waterproof it was already in there

  • hahaha my dad did this up at the surprise in rallywoods, just not as deep

  • U boat commander!

  • XXXXX Tips for driving in water or deep mud. 1 Wear wellies 2 Secure everything you don't want floating away, even if it's inside. 3 Become intimate with all parts of your Landie, you may be required to grope... 4 SNORKEL! (One for you too) 5 Winches. 6 Try not to give a crap about muddy or wet seats. 7 Have Fun! 8 Bring friends. 9 Dry clothes, you'll want them. 10 Hot beverage, you'll love yourself forever and it's a great bargaining tool for a tow. Live Landie and stay covered in crap! :)
  • i got stuck in water like that with my 04 wrangler, didn't drown thou. tough vehicles jeeps. I'm bout to trade a zuki sami, for a lr2 disco

  • Bummer there happened to me in the surf.

  • lrs suck. should have got a jeep.

  • @jeepfreakification How can you say that? Land Rovers have been at the very pointy point of offroad exploration since the '40s. Landies have their awesome reputation for a good reason, because Landies can. I'm not going to Jeep-bash, there's no point. Go and Drive a Defender, or even a Series. Drive it sensibly, don't go anywhere you wouldn't in a jeep and the Landie will breeze it. The only reason people have bad experiences with Landies is because they drive like idiots.

  • rhino bath!

  • I love my Disco; I'd never do anything like that to it.

  • whoops lmfao

  • That would suck sooo much. The inside of that would never be the same anymore.

  • @leylandcarsloverslea Nah, a bit of elbow grease, some leather/fabric cleaner and a heater/hot week and it'll be fine! Unless it's my Landie which still slops water from somewhere inside the dash six weeks after its last dunking.

  • @TheWierdFish If that was to a disco three, the nav would be all messed up but then again who needs that when they're going offroading.

  • @leylandcarsloverslea See, that's why modern 4x4s are, on the whole, useless. No matter how good they are underneath, they are covered in fragile plastics and electronic crap. Could you fix a modern Discos ECU in the middle of the Sahara? No! You couldn't even do it in the middle of Dartmoor. Series III with a Rover V8, it's been drowned too many times now but all you do is whip the heads off, flush everything and whack it back together. You can be running in 45 mins.

  • Doesn't look so happy :P

  • Another reason why money would be better spent on a Jeep xD

  • @bok666choy you mean repairing the jeep when it invitably breaks every 5 seconds

  • @Devourer221 I was a jeep owner, i can vouch for this....Now i own a Defender 110 TD5!

  • @bok666choy a Rover beats a jeep everytime

  • @bok666choy jeeps are rubbish, my old one got stuck in puddles that were as wide as the wheel base of my old wrangler, jeeps don't have a locking anything so they're terrible off road.

  • @bok666choy jeeps are overpriced and you can get a land rover with full equipment for the price of a shit jeep

  • that fella moves so god dam slow!

  • saved by a trooper

  • just couldn't get grip engine was fine drove home ok although the seats were a bit wet as well as the crisps

  • Excellent love the floating hula hoops.. I carnt think were abouts in parkwood this is

  • aye you get a laugh off kids, funny cause its true and refreshing to have a comment that didn't involve words to the effect of why did you drive in there you stupid idiot

  • @cjohng what went wrong you've got a snorkel ...did the water enter the exhaust...man that a hard way to learn things isn't it.. i would say a really wet way..hows the landy now

  • @cjohng Its Your car Bro.... Enjoy the ride !!!! :)

  • just watched your video with my 3 year old who is mad on landy,s.....they say from the mouths of babes this was proved as he chirped up " daddy that big man needs longer wellies" .....priceless
