"Ma Pi Naok?" (Where are you from?) by Sinn Sisamouth and Ros Sereysothea (3:24-3:32), remake of "Ma Pi Naok" (Where are you from) by Dengue Fever (3:33-3:59)
people will always blame the king, why don't anyone blame those who crave and are hungry for our culture and history, why why don't you blind people see, you'll never see, only those who are smart and intelligent will see those who take the time and listen will see, not those who just think of bad in everyone
when things go wrong who do ppl want to look to to blame? the leader. all bad things happen when the "king" wasn't even in power. it was Lon Nol. what started it all was the vietnam war and all the american bombings that took place that killed over 200 thousand civilians. ppl just don't look at the BIG picture instead they just like to jump to conclusion.
I like the old school khmer rock style, but I also want to see some more modern rock n roll style. I really like the band Coconut. The war has came and gone... ^^ Let's make Khmer music even better than before!
yes the king is screwed up khmer lifes . Involve with khmer rouge and after what he got ? only our families died . No one in the family can not escape death . He screwed up bad time . If he went along with the neighbor , they maybe not many people died .
Now everybody known the truth.Who dropping the bombs from the sky? Who pushed the king off his throne?Who bring Lonnol controlling the capital?Who supported Khmer Rouge? Who Made millions of land mine? The land mines cover Khmer 's land that killed million more people.Who are they?
I was there and had been through.I am a very logic and my brain full of knowledge.I understand pple more than they understand about them self."Sa'dach KrobCham nong mean Pear-rackeij che Reaksa Tirkdey dimbey sneah smos.Tea mean nak kabot bong odd dom-leay smos. Why?
I agreed with Khmemara777 said. Why we don't do like the oldie people did it and we have so many people how to sing a song like oldie and why they don't do it?
One problem with some Khmer today is that they just like to TALK about how great Cambodia could have been if KR didn't happen. I mean it's nice to remember all the glories that Khmer people have seen. But, it seems that most people just like to dream about the past and never want to do anything about the present and the future. We can make Cambodia even a better place than what is in the past if more people start doing and stop talking.
Kyom ban tver bun 4dong.now help' a guy t-got-t school as Dr.I pay fr all t/cost.Ieven bought him a computer& Moto.I hope,I'm still young &able to go to his graduate by th time he finish.I am hav' a very hard time of breath' in the air plane. Now I still able to brth only SingorPor Air.
This is a "DOCUMENTARY" not a "MOVIE". This documentary is almost done, but the film makers are running out of money to do some extra research & finish filming. They need funding to finish post production work like editing & finding a dvd distributor & ETC. Not to mention flying from U.S.A. to Cambodia to film & research...cost alot of money!!!
i agree with you suvanut. Our country was way better than Thai and Viet at that time. We had our own music styles, better movies, and our national sport Khmer kickboxing. Everything about Cambodia was better than theirs. Even the French knows this too!!
is really sad-i hate khmer rouge-they try to creat a better world-but it turn out to be a horrible world-i hate them-if there is no war-cambodia is one of the best country.
I actually agree with you...Cambodia could have been a way better country than it is now...if only this thing in history didn't happen to it...these legends will never be forgotten!
What's the name of the song that starts around 2:10?
I've heard it once, 3 years ago and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask then.
