the phone fucking sucks. But if you want durability you will find nothing better. I've dropped this phone atleast 50 times on hardwood and even concrete and it still works as terribly as it always has. I dropped my iphone once on carpet and the screen fucks up.

It's slow and it dies easily, but it's not that bad of a phone. If you're prone to dropping it down stairs, in toilets, or bathtubs... then you're safe with this phone. Mine has gone through hell in back and still works like it did on day one.

@EnglishTarts Horrible phone!! I got my samsung instinct about 6 months ago and within the first 3 months the touch screen didnt work, camera is not allowing me to take pictures or videos. I have to admit though it was pretty cool at first but after a couple weeks it slowed does and its just a bad cell phone over all!!

ive had this phone for a little more than a year, except that im with bell.

this phone has taken a beating, i cant stress how many times ive dropped it or thrown it at a wall and its barely chipped.

i like it, personally. a few of the downsides are that yes, it does freeze at annoying times and i hvae to take the battery out and put it back in for it to work again. the internet isnt wifi so thats a plus. can check facebook at school.

i dont mind it, but everything has their cons right?

i have had this phone for like 2 years now. and to tell you the truth, my friends iphone couldn't put up with a quarter of the stuff my instinct has put up with. sure i can't to all the cool stuff that he can but i liek it. its simple and easy to use and everything i need is right infront of me. I have dropped this countless times and nothing happens to it. it scratches and chips a little but thats about it. this phone is solid.

I've yet to encounter a decent Samsung phone. Thankfully, I've never owned one but friend's have. I mean Touchwiz on Behold II is a crime against humanity. Apparently, Touchwiz has gotten better ... duh. Doubt it could've gotten worse. Maybe they can do non-touchscreen phone's well. But they apparently lack any knowledge of what makes touchscreens work. Like, ya know, responsiveness.

I love this phone. its quick, its responsive, i know how to add free ringtones, free games! the phone sounds clear, the texting is great. That guy spartan is right, i end up hitting the ? instead of the space bar sometimes if i dont move my right thumb far enough. other then that, its awesome.

this phone is fucking horrible it is so hard to use the bottom home buttons are so unresponsive recieving messages is delayed the touch screen is not good and there are no apps... they give u a stylus because they know its hard as fuck to get some of those buttons and the key board isnt easy to use its hard and i constantly find myself pressing the ? instead of space bar and letters getting all messed up games that i have gotten on here all lag this is just a bad try to beat the iphone

i have the instinct. and it can hold well over 200 songs, but it all depends on the size card that you have too. but i know that it can hold a lot. mine only has like 140 songs, but i know it can hold much more:)

Yes it does. It has a 2 mp camera and shoots video. It is about the best out there. The Palm Pre meets and beats IPhone thanks to the hefty ATT&T monthly and the HTC is not as savvy as it was thought to be. The Instinct held up and will continue to be the truly affordable option for 3g touch and go multimedia phone and communication tools.
