My husband and I were just talking about how much we liked Doris Day in the movie "Calamity Jane". She was so pretty and so wholesome! We both fell in love with her! :-) The music from "Calamity Jane" was great, too!

And is the still at 1.40 from the film?? Behind the scenes perhaps?

Don't know who is in the portrait at 1:28; it's not anyone who appeared in the film. The business at 1:40 is a behind-the-scenes picture of make-up men plastering DD with mud to make her look like she had just fallen in "the dang-blasted crick" right before she enters the cabin when Hickok and Gilmartin have come to ask Katie to go to the ball at Fort Scully.
