  • The man was both a great artist and a great thinker. He was right-on regarding the importance of spontaneity in jazz.

  • Бадди Рич - лучший! Buddy Rich is the best!

  • wow he's a genius!! you can just tell...

  • who dislikes this the title explains the video

  • Thanks alot for this post!

  • What an incredible life he lived. Frank Sinatra years...Wow. RIP Buddy you are sorely missed man.

  • My god..Larry King is unrecognizable.

  • Anybody who says Buddy took credit for being the greatest drummer of all time is proven wrong here...he says it's a great compliment, too difficult to live up to. Even though he's obviously denying the truth, he said he played what he felt and not by the book.

  • Buddy did what had to be done ! Tell me this ? who has done more and with greater perfection ? He was the Greatest Drummer of all Times ! Ed Man ( Rock & Jazz Percussionist Extraordinaire)

  • most great people whether they be musicians, coaches, whatever are difficult to get along.

  • "Royal Festival Hall" -Royal Albert Hall. A great drummer but not too intelligent.

  • @winstonobonzo ..........It IS Royal Festival Hall.

    Just say'in

  • @winstonobonzo ...says who?! You? Idiot. A slip of the tongue, so what!

Genius enough to become a legend of all time.

  • Buddy Rich... !! oh what a good man

  • this guy was a real assholeto his bandmates. A real asshole

  • @cellardoor199991 how do you know that?

  • @cellardoor199991 he played for 68 of 69 years of his life.ive heard the tapes and he was super rude but when you are the pinnacle chief cornerstone of what you do, you want top notch bandmates.he was leading bands at 11 years old for fuck sake.he smoke drank and most likely was into coke and the fact that he had so much feel makes the technicality of his playing even more astounding.i heard he was also quite kind and paid well and never had the heart to fire too many people.

  • Do you have the whole interview? I would love to see it.

  • @timothyissohot I don't have the rest of the interview but check my channel for buddy rich clips.
