They sent me it teice,I answered the first one like the video did ,the second one I "LOST" ,so they sent me 2 reminder notices ,called me twice.yesterday they called me again and was asking me if I used the internet at home,work or other places!!! I did some searching on the web to find out if you can get busted for not filling out the census form or giving false info. It looks like they do have a law that says you have to, otherwise be subject to UP TO a fine of $5,000.00 and possible imprisonment. It's seems more likely that they'll just nag you for a week or so and possibly call you to ask why you didn't fill it out...

Can anyone else speak on this matter of possibly getting busted?

That said, I hope everyone does as I did - answer nothing but the count.

The government can ask any questions it wants. Title 13 provides no language to indicate that Americans are required to respond to census questions. The penalty for not answering census questions does not require Americans to respond although it may persuade Americans to answer.
