His mention of Jerry Falwell just shows how far left Falwell and his cronies have gone. The shame is on Falwell and the vast majority of the so-called Evangelical leaders. Chuck Baldwin writes incredible articles each week that are well worth the read. He pulles no punches in reprimanding his fellow Christians and exposing Huckabee for the fraud that he is. Finally a Christian leader with both a backbone and a brain. Love it!
I rush ordered a red ink stamp with the logo, "Vote RON PAUL '08 for President & restore the value of this dollar!!! - Google Ron Paul!!!" I'm stamping all my money with it over the next year (thousands of 1,5,10, & 20 dollar bills) & asking others to do the same! You can buy an ink stamp at kinko's or online (google "ink stamps") for as little as $5-20! Just imagine the recognition Ron Paul would get if we all did this!!!!!! GO RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who cares about the protection of marriage. If you havent figured it out, male-female marriages on their own fail more than 50% of the time. Allowing gays to get married would probably lower that percentage. ANyways, there is nothing to protect. Christians need to stop trying to control the world. This is not the Christian way.
Thank you! I am so glad to see that not all Christians are being fooled by wolves in sheeps clothing. I can see the hand of God on this man. I hope the sheep wake-up in time.
Actually, Ron Paul is AGAINST any laws on a federal level regarding marriage. He says it's a religious matter not for the Federal Government to stick their noses in. He is NOT for any definition of marriage. That's a good thing!! It's NOT the federal governments or your buisness.
you do realize that the DOMA he was referring to was a bill passed during the Clinton administration recognizing the rights of individual states to deny the validity of a marriage license from another state that did not conform to their state's definition of marriage. This is a proper function of the role of government via interstate commerce and has absolutely nothing to do with usurping state's rights or defining marriage itself within the bill.
"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg." - Jefferson.
Like most atheists, I agree that applies to "one god" too, our disagreements do matter personally but lets look to what we can agree on.
To elaborate, Paul's stance is that ALL marriage should be as local as possible, so therefore the widest reaching law (Fed/civil union) should be the most general. Forcing a one size fits all solution allows no compromise on other bitterly contested issues like abortion & prayer in schools, if we don't all compromise on issues we don't want to compromise on, Government will just pander to whoever shouts loudest & we remain divided.
Cool endorsement, but you need to edit the soundtrack so that it lines up with his lips -- it looks freaky this way.

I've never seen a candidate who could get as much fervent support from Christians as he does from Atheists. He'll be a uniting president.

Pastor Baldwin's articles have been great. Insightful would be an understatement.
Would to God that a majority of preachers today had this same discernment.

Dr. Baldwin and Ron Paul both are opposed to the Federal Marriage Amendment. You people need to calm down and do some research.

Further proof that the message of freedom brings us together as a nation.
We must defend each individuals liberty as if it were our own.

Well, gay marriage would be a state issue. There would be no federal law against it.
