  • if i lived in the us, i would love to carry this as a self protection gun

  • awesome for concealed carry

  • Weird/cool gun. Never heard of it before - who ever heard of a 3 shot .380 revolver? Thanks for posting!

  • the focus on the camera is kinda wierd :P

  • FROM AN EX-82ND AIRBORNE .[THATS-SAFETY-]CLICK.WILL GET YOU KILLED IN THE RIGHT SITUATION.

  • this is the coolest gun ever,,,,and i own a pps43 what is something like that worth

  • Interesting little pistol.

  • Isnt it that wierd that every gun sounds the same, exept if its suppressed.

  • @Mikkuzki It's an explosion, followed by a sonic crack. There are very minute differences that cause guns to sound different, but not to video game/movie levels of different.

  • wow thats really interesting

  • it looks like you really have to squeeze that trigger for it to fire. looks like it would give you a sore finger after shooting 2 cylinders.

  • PPI (POCKET PAL INC)?

  • OMG !

    IT'S THE N64 !

  • Cobray made these in Ducktown, TN, while they made pm/11-nines and those 12ga Street Sweeper revolving shotguns and Mini .410 Street Sweepers (actual model name was Lady's Home Companion). "PPI" stands for "Pocket Pal Innovator". They also made another weird 410 Derringer that S.W.D. and Leinad never made. In my opinion, the best Mac type semi auto civilian pistols are the Masterpiece Arms ones made in Georgia. They're better made than even Ingram, Vulcan or Jersey macs.

  • that's a neat pistol

  • You review some of the oddest looking pistols I have ever seen, Thanks for increasing my pistol "vocabulary" lol.

  • Wow, it even has warning text on the trigger

  • Thanks for the video!

The Argentinian Pocket Revolver "Tronador" made by Pasper may have inspired th Cobray Pocket Pal at least they share some resemblance and commonalities.

Do a google search for pictures about 'paser tronador revolver' there a a few pics and some Argentinian forum threats albeit in Spanish if you are interested.

  • i seriously want one. but im sorry i wouldnt pay more than 150 for it and another 25 for the extra cylinder

  • how much did you get it for? and is it for sale?

  • cool gun but I'd feel safer with a decent knife in a self defense situation

  • is there a poopoo modle?

  • chuck norris has one of those taped to his balls . ( and a .44 mag in his chingina )

  • now thats cool

  • That gun has a lost IMFDB page.

  • nice,Cobray is from ducktown maybe it was made by PPI and distr. by cobray

  • The finish pitting is from the casting process that makes the frame. Investment casting is used by most firearm manufacturers like ruger for example. It is strong, durable and will last longer than other types of castings. Pitting is just cosmetic usualy not left raw or un-finished. ugly yes, but very durable. Very nice gun, aside the trigger pull and I like the padlock hole in the trigger.

  • I'd watch a video of you shooting it... (hint, hint)

  • Good vid

    Cool gun

  • plz

  • great video of this rare gun.

would it be possive to take off the grips and show the moving parts?

is on the manual an parts list?

  • Wow I am frequently amazed by the level of engineering in many if these obscure handguns. Some very smart people out there.

    Very nice vid

  • omg that trigger pull was PAINFUL to watch...oof...

  • @Mklink You could tell how heavy that was due to how much his hand was shaking.

  • Can you please make another video and explain how the parallel firing pins work when you press the trigger? Does the one firing pin drop on a empty chamber?

  • With the smooth trigger pull, great ergonomics ,weight and ease of reload I am surprised that it didn't really sell well. I still think its cool you have such unique pistols.Yeah Ducktown!

  • Looks like a loooooong trigger.

  • Man-o-man .......... you do come up with some odd firearms.

  • I don't know why, but I am drooling over that gun, and for some odd reason I want one like no tomorrow; There is something wrong with me isn't there?

  • Awesome vid! Awesome little gun!

PS: I now recognize your vids by the thumbnail :)

  • I have never seen one of those before.

  • Did you ever fire these guns ? I remember the COP when that came out, but I never heard of Pocket Pal.

  • another facinating gun!
