That means not arguing with and trying to impress a 17 year old kid on youtube...especially when you haven't completed one single evolution at BUD/S. One thing the teams look for is maturity. That being said, if you make it through BUD/S and move on to SQT and platoon training and act like an immature ass you'll be gone

Hey, your opinion is understandable. God does say for us not to kill, but he also says that there is a time to kill; there's a time to fight. But there's also a point where you have to sit back and stop criticizing others. Instead of pointing the finger at others, you could try looking at yourself and seeing how you're making this world a better place. NAVY Seals are hardly guys who are sent out to fight petty battles. There are plenty of guys out there doing humanitarian missions.

I won't post the whole chapter, but even the context is implying that yeah, there is a time to kill, but not nearly as often as it's happening in this world. By the way, just living peacefully, peaceably, and in genuine love and compassion for others is MORE than going to another country to serve.....unless of course you're doing it over there.

Recon Marines have been around since about 1944.
The main difference between Force Recon and Recon is that, Recon Marines don't(normally) insert by parachutes, and Force Recon has more training.
That's what I was told by the veterans at the VA Hospital.

From what I've read.
There was the Raiders and then four Reconnaissance Battalions.
But the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion falls under the 1st Marine Division, just like the USMC Raiders.
