I never realized it before, but there's a disturbing amount of similarities between Smeyer and Anne Wilkes from Stephen King's Misery. Both are morbidly obese, are obsessed with Victorian period romance, they over-identify with a fictional character who's a self-centered cocktease, have an immature attitude on swearing (Meyer herself admits to giggling everytime someone says "seminal fluid") and both have caused countless people unbearable suffering.
She looks like a half read teenager in a fancy robe, surrounded by fans. The look on her face and in her eyes reminds me of a the ugly girl getting noticed by some drunks at a party.... her fame is truly an anomaly.

Well i think as a whole, twilight has a very well put together plot line. I just don't quite agree with the way it is written. Constantly displaying emotion through the eyes kinda gets boring after a while. And the repetition of the same arguments kinda gets boring as well

i think they played it a bit safe in the movie, it was all how i'd pictured it in the book, there wasn't really any added scenes to make it a bit more exciting, like in harry potter, they always add things in, i think that when the new harry potter film comes out, it'll put twilight to shame, even though twilight is really amazing, i just hope the next film has a little more movie magic.
the best scene for me was the one in the meadow but the scene in hospital was cool too. But on the whole i must say that all the movie was amazing :D....... im so excited for new moon to come out

No. Shes a sucky writer. I bet if Morgan Freeman played the vampire NOONE would go see the movie. See thats what this movie is all about to the "fangirls". They just like it because a hot guy plays the lead. They had to put a hot guy in to make up for the crappy storyline.

Its sad how everyone is SO obbsesed with Twilight,yet all the attention is on Robert,Kristen and Taylor.I mean,I like them and all,but all they had to do was act out the book.stephenie actually had to dream,create,make up and write the characters and the story.And yet shes forgotten so often.Rob,Kris and tay wouldnt be famouse if they werent acting out HER story.I love you steph,Yayyy Twilight.

Anyone else notice how it is nearly impossible to get JK Rowling to do an interview but Stephenie Meyer jumps at every chance she gets? That is the difference between a real writer and a fake. JK wants her books to speak for themselves and she is a writer to write not for the fame. She doesn't need to excuse or explain her books. Stephenie Meyer is desperate for the spotlight and constantly needs to explain to people why her books are good. If they were any good she wouldn't have 2 explain them

JK Rowling is so humble and gracious while stephenie meyer wants and needs to hang around the hollywood crowd for attention. you dont see this with a lot of other authors. stephen king and dan brown's books were also made into movies and you didnt see them doing interview after interview or showing up at EVERY SINGLE movie premiere. a good author knows they're good and is secure enough not to vie for media attention like a whore.

yeah stephenie meyer is in twilight when bella and charlie are eating and stephenie is sat a the bar on her laptop and the waitress goes "heres your veggie plate stephenie" =] i think thats kinda cool how they included her in the film, and so they should :) xx

i think they played it a bit safe in the movie, it was all how i'd pictured it in the book, there wasn't really any added scenes to make it a bit more exciting, like in harry potter, they always add things in, i think that when the new harry potter film comes out, it'll put twilight to shame, even though twilight is really amazing, i just hope the next film has a little more movie magic.
