the sub isnt a PA sub, its a home theater sub i bought from dayton. its called a dayton DVC series. the box was also built by myself. it has a plate amplifier on the back of it, so it is powered.

I listen to allot of pipe organ music so the Dayton Titanic 15 incher is on my short list of drivers I'm considering because of its Fs of 19hz, vast cone area, and excursion. This driver in a 5.4 cubic foot ported box tuned to 28hz should highlight an organ's 32' foot stops quite nicely.

I have one 12" Infinity Kappa Perfect pushed by a Rockford Fosgate 150 watt amp. Because I correctly built and volumized the box, it hits at 38 htz !!!!! It'll pound the shit out of almost any multiple woofer set-up I come up against. More isn't always better. Pay attention to your math. That's right, 38 htz with only 150 watts !!!!!
