i don't know what age she is but it'll take a few years in her teen life maybe, when she notice more about whats going on with the world and the change of emotions experienced.you can't really force the emotions onto her. (this was based on personal experience).
@henicedamenice it might be the right time to learn, but I don't think she'll understand what she's learning for some more years. Why? 'cause Chopin is one master that you need to grow up mentally to understand. Well, it took me some years to realise what is emotion on fingers :)

she needs to put more feeling, shes just banging the keys, i know shes young but thats the best time to learn how to put your emotions into the piece
