Poor little thing. Brushtail possums are really sweet babies and full of personality, shame they are pests in New Zealand, but it's not their fault. It's probably humans fault as usual. Humans are sometimes the real "pests"
I hate extermination programs, though I will agree that it sometimes is the only way to save native species as well as sometimes land itself (feral pigs in california and such).
