What a waste people that can afford these should do some good with this money to spend this on a fountain pen is just being a waste. I have about 300 antique fountain pens parkers, watermans, conklins, esterbrooks, shaffers, and so on, they are fun to collect but I buy mine at flea markets, estate sales, auctions, and garage sales, I have a parker duofold mandarin yellow made in 1927 in nice shape it is one of my favorites paid $30.00 for it I just love it.

I own many pens fountain, ballpoint, rollerball, needle point, technical drawing pens etc. (nothing close to the price of this one of course) but nothing beats the disposables. I use pilot tecpoint which cost $5-$7 and are pretty pricey but write perfectly. So all you sukas who think that fountain pens rule - think again. I got the lamy and it's pretty nice but can't compete with disposables. Got the duofold - same shit. Got a mont blanc - again disposables win the battle.

This is what a low class cheap fountain pen is - a fountain pen that costs the money not for the technology but for studded diamonds is as brilliant as sticking diamonds to a 2 dollar pen and calling it the most expensive pen in the world.

Montblanc ends at the Meisterstuck (at best) - anything more than that should be a matter of shame to Montblanc for even being associated with non-technical intellectual cheapness in the name of jewellery !
