Have you done anything to the heli? In terms of upgrades or mods? It looks a little different from mine if it is stock. I'm mainly talking about the blades, stabalizer? Very well flown though its been too windy to take mine outside to learn on:(
im getting my in a few weeks. i cant wait im so excoited. i will post some vids of it on like my fourth flight or so. ive done helis for like 4 months and gone through 3 helis(6 ch. ccmp eagle 50, blade mcx, nine eagles coaxial). im ready for the blade 400.
True!! I have spent so much cash on lamas and blade cx! But this heli rocks! Electronic are good very solid. But not as noce as TREX and not as easy to fly!
true... if your a beginer dont get a beginer heli thyer harder to learn on because the fly like crap... get a 400 caus its cheaper than a trex and they fly well
I think I got what it takes for the 400. I bought the pitch guage and the carbon fiber for the cp and feel I'm not ready for a colective... I'm now getting alot of info that tells me the blade cp is not the was not the way to go...
Cant go wrong with the 400 dude. They rock. I have had mine for almost 6 months and never had to replace anything except the rotor blades when i crashed it from over 150 feet up. I actually prefer the 400 over my T-Rex 450SE V2
Have your problems been alot to do with tracking and rudder trim? I had alot of those issues myself when i first started flying my B400 but i seem to have fixed the problems somewhere down the line.
yeah i have all sorts of problems, motor stars spinning up to rpms when no throttle, gyro diesent work etc etc. lol il fixed some of them though, they just come and go, no logical explaination lol!
sounds like you got a ghost in your heli lol...... Do you turn your TX on before you plug in the battery on the heli? if not that could explain a few things.
lol, ya I know a few people who DONT turn the Tx on and end up with problems. ya nightflyyer would be the one to talk to for sure, so if he can't figure it out then i dunno who will.
This is not 3D so you can go to your radio set up and lower your thrtl curve, you are running too high for no reason. Lowering it will get you another miute or two of battery life..
Dont feel bad rayl1111 I did the same, I was taking it easy low level hover when a small gust caught it and i over reacted and drove it into the ground, main blades, rotor blades, main blade clips , tail boom and spindle/feathering shaft. Word to the wise, i had nailed the blade cx2, but this is so much more reponsive, that error in judgement cost around $35, individualy the parts are cheaper then the blade cx2, but you tend break more of them.
Thanks for the advice, Merrytyme4all. I have a CX2 and feel I have mastered it. I have been looking at this heli ever since my LHS told me about it. Out of the box should be the "noob" setup, right? There should be scope in the setup to allow for extreme stability for training.
WOw! I love how it sounds when you start it up! It's like something out of terminator! I just ordered my 400 3D and am waiting fot it to arrive here in Kuwait! (lots of desert=lots of room!)
nice little spin at the end :) you were the perfect height for the remaining torque to cause a 360 after you either pressed the kill button or just put down the throttle real fast :)
just got my new blade 400 a few days ago and crashed it the next day. Despite the crash, it is an awesome heli. Extremely stable and precise. I stripped out a servo gear, bent the tale boom and spindle, and of course broke the blades. I'm waiting on new parts which have proven to be very difficult to find. I highly recommend this heli to anyone wanting to step up from the blade cp+, cp pro etc...
Pretty smooth!! Flying mine tommorrow 1st time. Didn't really like the blue "flame" decals on the canopy, so took them off. Like it much better, looks more friendly. Also building traing gear from wooden dowel and ping pong balls, but after watching this, looks pretty stable. Wish me good fortune !!
Nice Flyin. Great Vid

Hey does this helicopter come with a reusable package similar to the Blade CX2? For storage?
KoopmanG 4 years ago
? um sure you can put it back in the box but why do that with such a beast ? :)

I travel every year to visit my dad's side of the family so I need a box to put my helicopter in. Thanks for letting me know.

Nice hovering right out of the box.
What happened at the end?
Did you just "have to" do a pirouette? :-)
Personally, I will wait 10 packs before I try something like that. :-))

JEREMY L. you are my personal INSPIRATION. The only problem is that you are LEAVING ME the equivalent of one CENTURY BEHIND.
Is this flight STRAIGHT OOUT OF THE BOX ? or have you "worked" on it a bit ? YeOlde One
DEPROBARR1937 4 years ago
directly out of the box, the only thing I did was plug in the battery and unfold the blades!
thanks for the compliments Ol' Buddy! you are an inspiration to many as well... trust me you're not that far behind!
