@sonicth62 The thing is that I posed a link to a page with clean Sonic ROMs right into the description. I don't get why anyone would not be able to download the ROM then. But if you absoluteley want to know which one to download, it's the "Sonic The Hedgehog (W) (REV00) [!]" version, the very first one.

Well, I got everything to work good, but only 1 problem........ WAS THE EDITOR P;ROVIDED WITH THE DOWNLOAD? of not, which do i need, 1 or 2??? im confused...

Editor? Do you mean SonED? Use SonED2. The first version is for directly editing the ROM, while 2 is using in a split disassembly.

And for your information. that was a wile a go. With no ones help I figured out the problem. This Split disassembly was written on windows xp and can only be completely accessible in windows xp. Yes It can be opened in windows vista, but parts like the build do not work.

Why isn't it splitting properly for me?

It does the first two commands, and then stops completely, I downloaded the disassembler from other places and they all do the same thing, even with a clean rom!

After I did that, I ended up with s1built, then when I play it in the emulator, nothing happens. But when I play the s1.bin I started with, it hasn't changed at all

Your ROM is only 1KB big.  Edit build.bat, add a "pause" and you'll see the error.

Then you downloaded the SNASM 68k version. Try the ASM 68k version (video description).

Is your builded ROM only 1kb instead of 512kb or 1024kb? If so, edit the build.bat in Text editor and add a

"Pause" (without the ")

at the end of the file and build again.

Sorry brother, when I was tried to open slip.bat the program had not created (sorry my bad english) the folders, because I was renamed file like s1.bin, but the ROM was in BIN format and not in SMD format, so, the only thing that was I needed its rename to 's1'

Have you renamed the the Rom ro "s1" or to "s1.bin"?
