    Thats the Queen effect...

  • 7 people need to be destroyed for abusing his trust.

  • this is a free verse poem that i wrote for freddie's greatest live perfomance. Saturday July 12th 1986, a legend walked. Down the stage, looking over the crowd. The roar of thousands all directed at him. Standing at the front, people grabbing at him like hands from hell. He picked up his microphone and the roar dulled. so began the performance of the ages. One man, one voice. One voice, one legend. R.I.P Freddie Mercury 5/9/1946-24/11/1991
  • how is his hand that fast? AHHHHH

  • man , if i could be anyone it would be freddy , to have such a great voice must be amazing

  • @grant1133 And that piano talent... I'd envy you :D

    blew my mind

  • two words : just legend....

  • Roger Taylor.........and his drums..perfect!!!

  • freddie = god of piano and father of all vocalist 10 thumbs up

  • Freddie seems to be counting to something while he plays the piano bit at the beginning - anyone know what that means?

  • @Sinneyification Wouldn't be surprised if it was a method of keeping track of how many times he plays the section before bringing his other hand up in conjunction with the drums like a mental metronome. lol

  • Dear god,he must have sung his ass of the entire concert.

  • There must be people on youtube who click on the dislike button just to get people mad, no one would dare to click on it if the'd saw this video, this is Pure Talent, if i didn't like this i'd just close the window or look for something else...

  • kisses! Love you Feddie!!

  • Farrokh Bulsara.. perfect voice, classically trained on the piano, songwriter, designed Queens logo...collector of Japanese art..Beautiful,shy sweet and yes ..sexy... part of something so perfect. Brian May Guitar Master Brilliant song writter, Roger Taylor great on drums and that falsetto John Deacon wrote some of Queen's most memorible songs and amazing bass player.. I miss your presence Freddie Mercury..I admire how you lived..and died on your termsGlad I got to see Queen LIVE

  • 1:00- 1:10 i love this part, this lyrics are powerfull!

  • who are those 5 fuckers that don't like queen?

  • Freddie The Best of evertime

  • So many of Queen's best songs never got radio airplay in the US but thankfully they are forever on YouTube.....thanks to posters...you rock.

  • Kick

  • brilliant.

  • is a great sonnnnnngggggg

  • Piano rulez! :D

  • I love the whole video, but I especially love to watch the first 20 seconds to see Freddies awesomeness at playing piano

  • the incredible voice quality of Freddie Mercury, Brian May on guitar technique sobriety and John Deacon on bass, Roger Taylor masterfully playing the drums and composing great success as a radio ga ga queen make the best live band and one of the best ever

  • @TRUEMAN8919 :)

  • I'm just curious...love the song but those of us over here in the colonies don't get the derivation....what are the 7 seas of rhye?

  • @mobegone a fictional land freddie made as a child

  • I can't describe how amazing I think this live version of 7 seas of rhye is. Why is it we don't have anyone this amazing these days and insteas have lipsyncing fraudsters such as Britney? :(

  • The funny thing is that Brian said once that freddie told him "i won't play piano at live concerts anymore, i think i'm not a good pianist....".. incredible.

  • Where u heard that? I don't think he said it like that, he just didn't raise himself as a pianist, and in the later years never played much. In my opinion he was pretty god damn awesome at the piano, inspired me to start playing when I was 10 or something xD

  • @jacodance The best ones are always humble. If you're tooting your own horn, it's always because you're trying to hide some other inadequacy. True brilliance is realizing that you don't know everything. Al Gore: "You know things that other people, older people, don't know." Unfortunately we're living more for Gore's legacy than Freddie's.

  • @jacodance He was obviously comparing himself to the really old classical musicians like Mozart. If you happen to read this Freddie ( :P ) Don't. YOU'RE AWESOME!

  • Freddie was touched by God. God needed another angel, that´s why he took him. What a talent.

  • @hamacaman Touched by God? Freddie Mercury IS God!

  • gooooooooood song

  • Epic drumfill by Roger at 0:35.

  • His hands are just a blur. Great piano playing.

  • omg i love it!! r.i.p. freddie

  • Best singer ever! And also what a pianast! Truly beyond any other band

  • why is so short?

  • holy shit thats a STEINWAY!

  • holy shit thats QUEEN !! =)

  • Happy birthday unforgettable Freddie, best of the all times best.

  • hes a very good pianist. But I think hes a much more talented entertainer and singer

  • god the speed his hands move is incredible! he is SO talented :) <3

  • Good lord! "fastfinger- gasm!!!"

  • He's playing the piano so fast it looks like he's having a seizure. Amazing pianist and singer.

  • queen kicks ass

  • He is the greatest!!!!!! I luuuuuuuuuuv Freddie and his piano skills! xD he is the best pianist ever!! =)

Ohh Roger! he is the best drummer in the entire universeee!!!!!! what a combination!!

thats why Queen is the best band in the world!!

  • Brian May's okay too, I suppose...

  • wow... great pianist!!!

  • And what a great singer =)

  • its sounds so different than the real song, you know..

    but i reall love it

  • Queen and Elton John prove that there is no substitute for classical training...or a guitarist with an astrophysics degree. The 70s were really the era of true entertainment. You had Freddie, Elton, and Michael Jackson. Now girls just scream if a pretty boy stands there and strains his vocal chords. There's no appreciation for talent anymore. Freddie had buck teeth.

  • Looks don't make the music, it's the talent and the voice

  • and with a smile...

  • one of my favourite queen' songs

  • Je préfère l'originale, quand Freddie pouvait encore monter dans les aigus.

  • other rock bands and frontmen who think they're so good: SUCK THIS UP!!!! if you could do this, then you're worthy...if you can't, then just shut up and don't brag about you being famous..

    HAIL FREDDIE!!!

  • I would have been a roadie for Queen for nothing more than room and board.

  • me, too lol:)

  • i'm 56 yrs old and he will live for ever in my heart amd mind and soul, there is no one who can ever take his place.

  • 48 and I totally agree ilsweetsierra. Freddie was the shit.

  • Look at the speed of his right hand on the piano, he's a natural pianist.

  • thats because back then the great bands actually consisted of amazing talent!!

  • Why did they stop there?

And is there a video where they play the full song?

  • This is part of a medley, so they had to make it shorter to make the medley flow better.

  • Obviously they had cameras on all of them but there is a series that focuses on each one separately for 4 songs. Roger cam, John cam etc. Interesting to see what they all did on stage not just Brian and the great Freddie

  • @thuiils I love Roger cam :)

  • He was born in Zanzibar.

  • In our city is one Bar callad Zanzi

  • He was born in Zanzibar and moved to India before he went to England at the age of fifteen or something : )

Queen<3 Freddie will live forever <3

  • When he went to Boarding School

  • That's what I call a 'Rock Band'

  • Freddie, the last genius of rock

  • he's idian but grew up in england.... isn't that sooo cool?

  • I thought it was Zanzibar?

  • zsd

  • Good

  • His voice cracked a lot at the wembley gig, around this time he started to avoid doing the higher notes of certain songs and the band would perform certain songs in lower keys to accomodate his vocals

  • no he did a wembley gig they day b4 so his voicie was pretty spent but still sounds awesome. u should give him credit cause its amazing!!!!!

  • I know, but he did have to start changing the melody quite alot to stay within his range around this time, his smoking and vocal nodules had narrowed his range a considerable amount

  • Well he did suffer from Vocal Cord Nodules. So alot of singing will cause his voice to crack at some point.

  • If you look a few replies down, I pointed that out too :)

  • Wow he played the piano beautifully !

  • Little weaker than studio version :x

  • Fail.

The studio version is appallingly produced and sung. I had no idea how anyone could possibly consider it a good song until I heard it live.

  • It's all opinion. Shut up.

  • No, it's a fact that the studio take is horrifically dated.

  • Not dated, just lacking any modern production values. Some people like that, i'm one of them

  • i like both versions : P

  • this song is incredible. Love when he plays the piano in the beginning.

  • yes,but it's however beautiful

  • no it didnt ?

  • Viken28 - brilliant patch of the studio version with this live version from Wembely. Freddie sings the song in a much lower key in the live verson. This vid marries their wild talent in the studio with their commanding performance at Wemblely. Thanks for creating this. VM

  • i stopped doing piano a few years ago...after watching and listening to queen i got back in got Bohemian Rhapsody in sheet music and started playing....i eventually want to get up to this song

Freddie is the reason im back in piano

    thank god for him!

    RIP FREDDIE!!!!!

  • the hands of freddy are so fast in piano :O

  • Freddie live in our hearts

  • He was Wembley. Incredible.

  • there bestest performance

  • so great 5*

  • awesome song by a great performer

  • Wonderful performance:)

  • Look at him go at that piano...so under-rated as a pianist. Level 5 in practical and theory.

Throw that all together with his amazing Voice and Stage Presence and He becomes a Legend that he so wanted to be...and will always remain!!

    I am simply Blown away

    xo

  • You're right, they're a blurry pink mass...

    He's a great showman.

  • love this song

  • iv always loved the way freddie comes out stomps and sings and pumps his fist during this song as if he believes hes the character in the song.dumb comment i guess, but always struck me as cool.

  • Well, he sort of is.. Rhye is a place he made up or imagined as a child. He might have dreamt of it, I can't remember what it was I read.

  • Yeah i agree I love the way he walks as he starts singing

  • look at those fingers go!! haha

  • Great Concert

  • Queen was, and still is one of a kind. And Freddie was probably the greatest vocalist of all time.

  • I can't argue with that!

  • amazing fucking freddie on piano xD....

  • I'll take you to the seven seas of rhye!!!!

    Super song...

  • short and fuckin sweet
