What Alex Jones says about the Internet2 protocol is complete HORSE CRAP. The Internet2 is at the protocol layer and not the server and client layers. Internet2 is just an upgrade to allow faster speeds at first the provider level. It will not allow or disallow access to any site, that is only done at the server and client level. It can be done now with the current Internet protocol. Jones is making stuff up. The Internet2 code is OPEN SOURCE so anyone can view it! Look up internet 2 open source

@Dangs7 You don't need ISPs. All you need is the TCP/IP stack and a phone line and of course a computer. You can be your own node on the Internet. Hell you can create your own Internet or other network just by phone using old phone modems. But if you want faster speeds you then have to string your own wires or go to an ISP.

Then some of his forum people changed my thread title and said I was a government shill. I even posted in the forum they have for disagreeing comments. Alex Jones forums are exactly what he claims to oppose. Jones censors any opposing views especially if they have FACTS!

1st all your internet activity is already tracked and stored by your local governments (if you don’t change any settings). I am not the type of person who believes conspiracy theories but this is a well-known fact, don’t think the sites you view are not being tracked.
2nd the internet 2 is the switch to IPv6, this has to happen as we are running out of addresses with IPv4.

The "hubs" he is talking about that are degrading? That makes no sense. The internet runs through every single computer on the face of the planet. It's almost impossible to stop it. boycott not only the company's that are behind it But all of their sponsors. It's as simple as cutting your service with them. If you absolutely cannot live without Internet for a month or so. Get a cheap alternative like net zero & deal with it for about a month. Believe me they will buckle. Just one month of a total boycott will do wonders. Phone service can be cut down by using a pre paid & using it sparingly. They will get the message. But it requires complete participation from everyone.

It wont happen for many reasons
The main reasons being that they make so much money from the internet, losses would be greater from this than they are now from pirating. Another reason is it would gonna piss everyone off, probably more sof than if we decided to do the whole Iraq thing again.

the internet is our way of looking at the raw world. no CNN bullshit where everything you hear and see is lipservice from the government. if they put even this free speech we have under their watchfull and non-permissable eyes then what do we have left? this dosnt mean free speech gives me the right to terrorize, however the exchange of ideas shouldnt terrorize the government.
