I know this has been said before but, man did this game have some Trippy-Hippy Meth inspired bosses..Who the hell wants to fight a fucking urchin with a goddamn swordfish..Wait.. I DO!!! That's why I love DKC3. The first two games were creative, but did they have a fucking GYROCOPTER?>>>>> NO SIREE. Were their bosses creative? indeed! But did they have a barrel belching barrel, a fucked up spider named Arich? A waterfull slug? Kaos...bzzt? Bleak hehehe? Barbos? Or kroolenstein? NO! DKC3 FOREVER!

Aah, the nostalgia of it all. Reminds me of times with buddies when we were learning our first curse words trying to beat that damn spiky clamthing that you had to shoot those other fish into. Was effing epic when we'd be all hyped as shit counting for that charged D attack trying not to die trying to land the last hit to kill it.

DKC2 > this ofc - no doubt! I did finish this plenty of times, but most areas of DKC3 feel simply tiresome especially compared to the huge joyride that is DKC2.

Personally...for normal boss battle its DKC1 for best, DKC2, and DKC3 last

then last boss battles DKC2, DKC1, and DKC3 last again...why is the 3rd one not quite up to par with the music? and why do we have that annoying crying kong playing?..if they slightly bettered teh music and got a different 2 for dixie this game could've surpassed the others, but alas didn't happen

Nintendo and Rareware was an almost unstoppable team, so many great games came from the collaboration of these two companies and unfortunately, will most likely never happen again. May the memory of these games live on forever!!!!!!!!

Odd, most of the music of this game was composed by Eveline Fischer- While te GBA version was rescored by Dave Wise, the guy who did the first two.

Both games have some good tracks, but I'd have to agree with you on this song and most of the original SNES songs as well.

@NintendoFanM Squirt was a giant slug. But otherwise you're right. They are scary, and really hard if you don't know their weak spots or patterns. Barbos was the hardest and Bleak the scariest of them. And the music was making the battles even more scary.
