There are other ways to solve problems like this, not just to throw them out! There are war in their home countries and that is why we let them be in our country. Lets say that there is 100 immigrants that needs a country to stay in while the war is going on in their home country. Lets sort them, Sweden takes 20, Norway takes 20, Denmark takes 20, Finland takes 20 (this could be an impossibility because of Finlands immigration laws), and so on. You get my point!

A significant problem in my country as well is that the people in the parliament and government don't want to admit that there are problems with immigration. This further aggravates the situation. They are in denial of the costs caused by immigration to us and of the crime rates going up. And if you mention crime rates have gone up significantly because of immigrants, you are automatically a racist and even a president comes and tries to shut you up. This system cannot continue.
...and by democratic I don't mean that the trying to come to my country would have a vote. They should not have a vote at all in my country, this should be obvious. The current model pisses a lot of people off because it certainly looks like the natives of the target country are taken advantage of and simply put abused! One form of abuse is that if we point out flaws ion the immigration policy then we automatically get labeled racists. Maybe we need to start suing people who do that.
A much better way to help them is to help them where they live. This current model of "helping" that they are brought to the more developed countries in masses is just going to piss everyone off big time. Many countries have signed contracts with the UN to take refugees, and to spend a certain % of their GDP into these kinds of things, and they set rules for how many refugees you should be taking in every year. This system is stupid - look at how many people there are in Africa and other very poor regions. Are we going to take them all in?

There are other ways to solve problems like this, not just to throw them out! There are war in their home countries and that is why we let them be in our country. Lets say that there is 100 immigrants that needs a country to stay in while the war is going on in their home country. Lets sort them, Sweden takes 20, Norway takes 20, Denmark takes 20, Finland takes 20 (this could be an impossibility because of Finlands immigration laws), and so on. You get my point!

A significant problem in my country as well is that the people in the parliament and government don't want to admit that there are problems with immigration. This further aggravates the situation. They are in denial of the costs caused by immigration to us and of the crime rates going up. And if you mention crime rates have gone up significantly because of immigrants, you are automatically a racist and even a president comes and tries to shut you up. This system cannot continue.

...and by democratic I don't mean that the trying to come to my country would have a vote. They should not have a vote at all in my country, this should be obvious. The current model pisses a lot of people off because it certainly looks like the natives of the target country are taken advantage of and simply put abused! One form of abuse is that if we point out flaws ion the immigration policy then we automatically get labeled racists. Maybe we need to start suing people who do that.

A much better way to help them is to help them where they live. This current model of "helping" that they are brought to the more developed countries in masses is just going to piss everyone off big time. I'm afraid for the violence that can be caused by this mess and I hope we can sort this out through a sensible truly democratic process.

The important thing to notice here is that these both sides are victims. Someone has played them into this situation. I'm blaming this on the United Nations. Many countries have signed contracts with the UN to take refugees, and to spend a certain % of their GDP into these kinds of things, and they set rules for how many refugees you should be taking in every year. This system is stupid - look at how many people there are in Africa and other very poor regions. Are we going to take them all in?

@reshjuk ...and of course I'm blaming it on our politicians and voters who think making such deals with the UN is a good idea. The system needs to scrapped. We need something sensible, I'm not against helping the people out, but I don't think we can bring all the troubled people from Africa to my country! That's just not going to work. They will all want to come if they here how nice it is here. And that's not the right way forward, then everyone will be pissed off.

@reshjuk So, they should stay in their native countries and try to improve them. And we can't be paying for all of it, they need to take initiative.
One example of this madness is how some Indians found efficient and big farms in Africa and produce a lot of food. Then Western aid organizations buy all of the food produced at that farm and hand it out to the local population for free! This is how your money is spent. The only one truly benefiting from this is the Indian who set up the farm.

@reshjuk You should ask the question, why did the Africans not found the efficient and big farm by themselves? The land was there, and the Indian could do it, why not the Africans themselves? For how long are you going to be paying for such madness? Africans need to learn how to farm land efficiently in Africa and if they can't do that then I'm sorry but I don't want to pay for their incompetence.

In our parliamentary elections this Spring, over 20 % voted for a party which is critical towards the current and insultingly liberal immigration policy, and this moron that we have as the President practically just called them all racist - it was on the newspapers on Father's Day ("thanks"?). This is not a way forward. I can't wait to get rid of this moronic President. Surely you should be able to criticize immigration policy without being labeled a racist and these morons just don't get it.

Till att börja med så behöver dom lugna ned sig, vanlig samtalston är fullt begripligt för att bedriva ett samtal. Dessa människor bor här numera och är en del av vårt samhälle och bör agera därefter. Vi är alla svenskar och det är viktigt att även dom nyinflyttade anser sig vara det.
