Yep, I think the red beast was a Seat concept.

I still like the SDR-S7 (tiny and light, reasonable quality video, manual focus option, files work well with Adobe Premiere Elements, inexpensive, etc), but it has some niggles (zoom is too fast, no carry strap, no DoF control). So, a good choice for casual YouTube videos...
