Miss those "Acoustic" amps .The Smothers brothers really pissed off LBJ contrary to their cleancut image as the boys next door , their anti Viet Nam involvement positions & pushed the envelope with acts like the Doors,Cream .And remember "Officer Judy " a 6 ft 3 inch male comedian Bob Einstein in full leathers or "Share a little "tea" with "Goldie"(Acapulco ?) His last few albums (besides LA Woman) were pretty meh to be honest. His voice was destroyed due to cigarettes and hooch, and the content and meaning of the lyrics started changing. Strange Days was, in my opinion, their last great album. You can actually hear the quality degrade after that. Not to say it isn't great anyways, just not as good.

Anyway, I'm trying to say that if Jim lived, and The Doors got back together, they would only churn out poor quality music.
