When buying forester (or pennington) forceps make sure to get the slotted end type. Slotted end clamps pull straight outt thus avoid getting them stuck. I recommend forester clamps for smaller navels. Yup. Pro piercer here.

Hun you did a great job but i would of recommended you stood up for the piercing since sitting down could be more of a chance to pierce the bottom of your belly button, good choice in the catherer needle and the forecep (should of gotten the slotted one so you wont have trouble removing it due to the needle), get rubber bands and put them on the other end of the clap to hold it close so you wont have to put so much pressure on to your skin causing a bruise. other than that you did a great job.

@faithilicious08 Honestly, when I pierced it, I didn't feel it because I numbed it with ice. But I had trouble getting the ring into it, so the numbness wore off, and it hurt. It was probably like maybe a 6 on pain. It felt like a really bad bruise for a couple days. but it doesn't hurt anymore.
