  • How many mw till you can see the laser beam well during the day?

  • @JoshDDiebold 35mW is clearly visible during the day when used inside or out of direct sunlight.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Thanks.

  • does it work for cows? hehe easy for cowboys

  • nice one

  • Lol, cool that you can sort of remote control the flock. It must look to them like a large stick threatening to whack them. They say birds can see the UV end of the spectrum better than the red end to help in finding food and navication. Perhaps one of the new 405nm lasers will be more visible for the given output power.

  • i have a 5mw green laser and enjoy scaring the same kind of birds out of the tree from my backyard. now its more quiet at night.

  • I like scaring pit bulls with it every where the laser goes it goes

  • It just flock of birds

  • If Mike tyson knows who you are, your'e a dead man, I hope you know...lol

  • that shit is power

  • '

try use a green laser on the bat at evening time

  • WOW that laser must be powerful if it can scare off a flock of birds like that. What store did you buy that laser at? You rock controling a group of birds like that.

  • @TheZa1994 That laser is from w w w dragonlasers com

  • and a single engine prop plane couldve flown...right into that....xD

  • I really wouldn't like a laser anywhere near my eye's even if it was 100% filtered from all harmful light, the slightest direct exposure up to 100 yards from a 35+Mw laser will cause damage. Remembre the cheap lasers from China, ¾ of them have no IR filters whatsoever.

  • put the lazer in your ass bitch ;)

  • there goign to shat on you now :O

  • you shined it at your camera didn't you? lol

  • I hope your dumbass gets arrested

  • so thats why groups of birds always randomly take flight!

  • lol if i could do that, i would do that all day long

  • @AminamHD I wish i could do that to your mother all day. loser

  • @Seigu007 GOML

  • "NOTE: Using lasers to harass birds is not cruel or inhumane because unlike the human eye, a birds eye will not be injured by high power portable green lasers."

Why is that? Sources of this information would be nice.

  • @glumpfi Here you go.. journals.uzpi.cz/publicFiles/10567.pdf

Birds don't can't block any UV or IR light in their eyes, unlike humans. Their eyes are more easily dammaged from intense light scources. They actually use the UV part of the light spectrum to see with.

  • @locouk that is just answering the uv and ir part of the light. what about the green (and maybe strongest?) would you like me to shine in your eyes with a green laser with uv and ir filter? still would't be that nice, right?

  • Haha, I wish I had one to mess with birds when I'm driving down the highway =P

  • your a good herder

  • i can see a spot on ur lens where you burned it

  • I already see marketing potentian. If this process is automatic u have a bogle with a huge range. some farmer would kill for that.

  • So, how exactly does it not hurt the birds eyes yet if you flash it in your eyes it destroys them? How does that work? Are the birds to far away so we can't see there 532nm laser protection contacts?

I ask out of genuine curiosity

I probally would not want to point my 1 watt blue spartan at them thou right?

  • hahahhaha.....:)) nice

  • Lmao ! i did that too haha by this bush ! al flew away ..

  • Lol thats sort of duschy

  • i tried it with a 30mw and the birds in australia dont even move

  • @harrison1019 laser could be too low power so not visible to the birds. What types of birds were they?

  • @dragonlasersfanman nah fresh batteries and they were pigions with the green matalic colour going down their neck and grey

  • @dragonlasersfanman new batteries and they were pigeon

  • @dragonlasersfanman nah fresh batteries and they were pigeon with the green matalic colour going down their neck and grey

  • @harrison1019 try 1 watt....

  • do they see it or sense it... are they afraid of it?

  • sumbit this to ray william johnson someeeeoneeee this could be on the show

  • Hahaha. Now point it at a UFO and see if something cool happens.

  • so it does not hurt birds.... OK so now don't have to worry about hitting them any more

  • haha my dog HATES my laser, he always tries to catch it :P

  • Funny :D

  • lol I do the same with the hearing seagulls around hear (They make such noise and shit on everything aswell as dive bomb during breading season) I find kaser works best with just running the light up to there feet on the roof tops and get them suckers to do a flying mexican wave. Have tried shining straight at them but they just sort of shake there heads and look like wtf, running it up to there feet makes think somethings coming for them.

  • i have a laser pen, and in geography, the teachers really mean so i pretend in writing with it and shine it on his forehead...its hystarical

  • Careful there, you may accidentally blind one of them.

  • Aurora's are just pure awesome. But really there isn't a difference other than maybe the mw power.

  • Umm... you are shining it in their eye's. They get scared because they SEE it!

  • I would direct them to hurt people i hate

  • its pretty awesome i do it with ducks i showed someone and his reaction was like the double rainbow guy, my laser is set at 1.9 wats

  • you’re fag

  • then a plane just crashes on the,

  • HAHA ROFL!!!! i bet people are like WT* xD FUNNY AS HELL! THUMBS UP FOR THIS GUY! xD

  • Real life version of Angry Birds App!

  • jajajjajajaa tengo que probarlo

  • too bad It doesnt scare my dog, he chases it and tries to catch it... that's how i lure him into the bathtub <3

  • @hellow533 haha nice use for a laser :)

  • @dragonlasersfanman whats the difference between a regular laser and a Aurora laser

  • @superfreakinawesome8 The main difference is the batteries which is why we phased out the Aurora green lasers.

  • @dragonlasersfanman soo the aurora batteries suk?

  • @superfreakinawesome8 well a "regular" laser (the cheapo red dot ones) are about 5 milliwatts, and they cant burn thru anything. higher power lasers in the 100s of milliwatts range can burn plastic, melt rubber, and sting or burn bare skin.

  • @dragonlasersfanman too bad i can't do that with my 2 watt laser. :D

  • @C00lman555 Are you mad? 2 watts? damm that must burn throug steel.

  • @hellow533 You made my day. I hope you meant to bath him not rape him O_0 ?

  • @AverageNoob1 what the fuck?

  • @hellow533 haha

  • @hellow533 great way to make your dog go blind in a couple of months douche bag.....

  • @SADFACE1000 orly? A lower powerd red laser pointer now anywhere neer this power can make a dog go blonde from looking at it atleast 3 feet away at all times?

  • Black heart!

  • 445nm works even better than 532

  • at 0:48 / 0:49 there was a flash in the sky and i thought one of the birds blew up lmfaoo;')

  • water drop on the camera and the laser behind it

  • haha funny

  • Chain reactions at its best XD

  • UR SOOOO MEANN!!!! what did they ever do to u??

  • Ahh the light it blinds me.

  • screw them birds.. i say turn up the juice and cook them lil basterds in mid air......

  • see freacken kool

  • that was the coolest thing i ever saw

  • This is quite amazing on a scientific point of view

  • so funny , go left no no go right now go left now right again epic laser =)

  • like magic, nice

  • lol

  • Hahahaha what a cunt you are xD

Thx for the video, also i hope no avian retinas were damaged during the making of this video.

  • Someone walking in a parking then suddently saw a bunch of bird going left and right... WTF

    XD

  • Awe, makes me want another green laser, my friend broke mine :(

  • @KillerFlood02 Sue your friend thren buy a new one :)

  • @dragonlasersfanman In america... you probably could

  • @dragonlasersfanman Not to be rude, but are you stupid? Laser are dangerous to the eyes without protection. Not that i CARE that you destroy some bird eyes, but DONT write that it is not dangerous....... Jeez.

  • @2URBO2 I write it is not dangerous because I'm referring to birds eyes. Research has shown that at the ranges used, lasers are not dangerous to birds.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Catch a bird, take the laserbeam and point it into the eyes of the bird please, and let him fly afterwards. Experiment.

  • @2URBO2 No one uses a laser on birds at point blank range. Lasers for avian dispersal are normally used with a minimum range of 20-30 meters.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Are you saying it might be dangerous?

  • @2URBO2 To peoples vision? Definitely. To birds? No.

  • @dragonlasersfanman Test it.

  • @2URBO2 how about you test it ya little fuck

  • Awesome :P

  • is there a portable laser that can kill a bird?

  • @komunigga maby that one 20w handheld laser

  • hahahaha lols

  • Oh, I just wreck them with my pellet gun. If I want an explosion I will bust out the 12 gauge.

  • LMFAO HAHAHAHA ROFL THATS FUCKING FUNNY HAHAHAHAHAA

  • Their Sniper spotters were working overtime.

  • you have a bird infestation

  • 0:47-1:09, you were directing the birds! you are officially MASTER OF THE SKYS!

  • you should point it on the drivers and blind them.

  • @zoltan6561 really? that sounds brilliant lol

  • ok thats pretty cool. But how do you know it wont damage their eyes?

  • You can Control the Birds and form an army.

  • :D

    #1. WOW that IS cool!

    #2 Awwwwwwwwwwe poor birds haha.

  • you can make them go blind..

  • so much fun to agitate animals without any consequences

  • Every bird u pointed at is now blind!

  • @metallica250000 Are u sure? cuz then it's not fun

  • thats funny!

  • poor birds! =(

  • poor birds! =(

  • @330Louie What moral authority do you have to make this kind of criticism???

  • @dragonlasersfanman

he just fcking lifeless gay kid

  • @330Louie u obviously dont have one fukkin making stupid comments, dumbass troll ahahahahah goo hoommmeee!!!!!!!

  • yay i can scare all the ninja birds in late afternoon that makes all the noises that i cant take a nap!!

  • Did you ask them if they could see correctly? lol And yes this is a potential blinding hazard, The biological nature of an eye against the sheer amount of radiation of a laser above 50 mw, It's factual laser radiation can temporarily blind a bird " though unlikely not both eyes at once whether portable or not the energy output is the same, just not the stamina. Frankly I eat chicken so a few blind birds are perfectly ok with me lol,

  • interesting experiment, but with 150mW one can easily blind them permanently. I would not like to do so.

  • @cero815 No. For a number of reasons, 150mW or higher powered portable lasers at mid to long range will not blind birds.

  • @dragonlasersfanman would you like to explain some of the reasons to me?

Dragonlasers additionally are relatively cheap (lots of power for the price) - I would not trust in gaussian distribution. There might easily be some hot spots which worsen the problem.

  • @cero815 What would you like me to explain?

  • @dragonlasersfanman the reasons you are talking about.

  • @dragonlasersfanman This depends on the ray expansion. If your dot increases to twice the size at a few 100 ft it's still 75 mW.

What worries me more is the fact that you could easily hit a plane that's just coming out of a cloud, especially if the pilot were to look down at about the direction where you're standing. Small chance, but still, if it happens you're in big trouble.

Please don't point a laser at any living creatures, nor at a cloudy sky that you can't oversee completely!

  • @Sorcerer8472 With most animals, I agree with you. Not with birds though. National airports, local councils and varioius organizations all over the world use lasers for scaring birds BECAUSE they don't harm the birds.

  • @juliogbox

Blind persons yes.. Birds no.. it has to do with the way their eyes work. Birds can see in 4 colors: ultraviolet (UV), blue, green and red and the sheer thickness of their cornea makes it difficult to scar/cut. Temporary blindness is possible at that distance/duration but not permanent eye damage.

Of course any animal that does not possess reflector eyes will sustain damage from a high powered laser at a short distance and high duration. That was not the case here though.

  • @cero815 stfu stupid hippies

  • @Malkus1 lol

  • Birds mainly see in the UV spectrum, to them it looks like a massive stick coming at them, not a laser!

It's bright as day and solid!

  • Yes u can. As soon as you aim at the cockpit it will be blinded with your lazers colour. Don't do it man

  • can i take down a plane with a laser?

  • @dlxideas no, but u can make the plane follow the laser...

  • laser bird herding lol

  • thats so cool =)

  • cant they get blinded? :P youre evil

  • Birds cannot be blinded by lasers used this way.

  • bird herding

  • You are self an Animal!!!

  • that is so sick...u can control where they go...u can make them poop on someone!

  • @AcidRooster Or you can train them to TAKE OVER THE WORLD......

  • @AcidRooster HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i hope they poop your car.lol... nice lazer where can i get one

  • From Dragonlasers at w w w dragonlasers com

  • can u ship them and how much is a normal laser and last question do u have to be a specific age to buy one

  • PM sent

  • lmao i need to do this :D

  • lol

  • racist

  • Racist? How???

  • racistt against pigeons/birds >:|

  • Racist refers to people not animals

  • grrr, then pigeonist >:o! likes thatt?

  • @monkipoopi3487

    lol?

  • yes

  • that is beast lol

  • Avian Dispersal, lol. I love this vid and i hate birds so... do you think a plain $1 red laser would w ork?

  • No.

The beam needs to be visible to the birds so I'd say you need at least a 75mW green laser.

  • Can't that blind them? Just curious cuz I thought those things were powerful.

  • The birds can't be blinded.

At that range the laser has very little burning power and the structure of the birds eye makes them resistant.

  • thats mean!

  • Wow, you sound just like "Omar", that mental case who torched housing developments under construction and made videos c/w his creepy voiceover.

  • It´s a bird´s nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats a nice way to spend $400.00 ... bug the shit outta birds ...... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!! id point that shit at some cops head just cuz ...

  • MEAN! ! ! ! !

  • AWESOME !! xD

  • Wicked !!

  • You just teach birds to get used at laser...that isn't a smart at all...laser is not the natural enemy of birds...the birds will become a major problem this way.

  • dude i have a laser and i never thought of it(its better than using a bb gun airsoft)

  • @princeofallchickens today im shot
