Digitech GNX3000 as a Sound Card Interface for PC recording

Man I like the sound of it! I think I would like to use something like this Digitech GNX 3000 to run with my fire wire or small interface with Pro Tools!

@AldridgeHalenFreak , Thanks. this unit only has USB, I'm not sure if their is a way to use firewire. but maybe if you have a USB port it would work. These units are getting hard to find as well. also I'm logged in under my other youtube name, sorry..

I've tried this. Don't you find the sound of the gnx to color the sound of what you're recording? Personally I found it very thin and "digital" sounding. It's not a bad way to get it done if that's all you've got though.

@guitarpoetone1 , i'm sorry I did'nt see this post. I appolagize. If you are only using a piano, and a guitar, you wont need a mixer you can plug the piano into any input on the GNX3000, However if you add another instrumnet you just plug the mixer into the input of the GNX3000, and your other instruments into the mixer. Piano etc...

Cont.. @guitarpoetone1, cont.. your guitar will always remain plugged into the guitar port. use you headphones, or output to monitor all instrumnets, even if you are usb to PC. the GNX3000 becomes the sound card. you will hear windows sounds from the GNX headphone. the computer is a gaming PC here is the video watch?v=y0FMPpoubeQ

@thelespauldrumer2 , yes, I actually was wanting to do that, as soon as I have time I will do it. I've been working 6 days a week, 8-10 hours a day. so I will get that done as soon as possible. I have fraps so it should'nt be problem, the video editing and rendering will take some time, and then the upload.
