He wasn't really running at max settings.. The sliders only get you to ~60%-70% max settings, If he maxed everything out in custom, added a little AA, he would have been at 10 fps or less.

I was a little suprised to find that when I enabled SLI with my duel 9800 gtx +s, performance actually dropped a bit. 

Anyways, besides your complete inability to fly, you have a nice monitor..
