  • I feel bad for Peter Cullen. When he did the new knight rider series, they made the new KARR as a transformer.

  • KARR in Trust doestn Rust was way better, because instead of seeming evil he just seemed like a KITT that just needed some love and reprogramming, in this episode they made him just seem like a jerk.

  • @C0LL1N

well, you can't entirely blame him. look at events through his scanner. you get brought back to life by two drunks who jerk you around, then later on find out you now have a copy, when by your (flawed) logic, there is ONLY YOU. or should be. later, you're forced over the side of a cliff, where you land and stay for two years.

add in damage done by the sea water and any other factors, plus time for venom to be added to memories and well...

i'd be a jerk too. just my $0.02, though.

  • @zaratheoneandonly Wait till Stephen Kings CHRISTINE *finally straightens out her compacted car cube body after 30 to 50 years* and looks for a new soon to be (Dead)-icated boyfriend,I Swear,if Christine II ever comes out and as CGI animated BS live action film, It wont be just me trying to run over these CGI crap pruducers

  • "dont call me boy". thats gold. lol

  • besides karr has more free speech than kitt and more better cpu....

  • DON'T CALL ME BOY! lol love it!

  • I wish KARR was real, he would be like my best friend..

  • i know, you and me both. he'd be the only person i talk to, even though he can get irritated as stirred up hornets. :D he'd be worth it though!

  • If i had driven it, I wouldnt corrupt it, I'd Take KARR out to test his wheels and stuff.

  • i know what you mean, except you could say his corruption started "in the womb". his programming made him unpredictable, and rather than patch or rewrite it (preferrably rewrite it), they stuffed him away in a hangar and left him.

That's part of what drove him crazy

then, after Tony and Rev woke him up, KITT and Michael thought he was going to kill people and played a lethal game of chicken with him, the shock of which probably jolted his circuits.

  • then, after that, the second time, he actually WAS corrupt. i think that was probably from the impact the first time. add in the sea salt, and well...

    it makes for a disaster.

My opinion? They could've saved him, they just DIDN'T. Personally i think they're to blame. *shrugs*

  • I would have talked him into going back to KI and getting fixed when KITT wasnt there.

  • you could've tried, but i think he'd be too scared of being shut down again. you'd have to be pretty damn convincing for him to listen. *is amazed she don't get some of these messages in her inbox*

  • easy, i just tell him im his new driver and weve detected a fatal error in his program that will cause him to go offline permanently unless someone is allowed to TEMPORARILY shut him down to fix it. then id have his programming fixed so hell have the same personality, but be a good guy this time.

  • *raises brows in surprise* ah! i hadn't thought of that! smooth thinking! he might not like it, but he wouldn't have a choice because of his programming. *nods* nice thinking!

  • KARR wasnt evil at all in the original series, it was these two that made him bad! and corrupt!

  • which two do you mean, mc? KITT and michael, or Eddie and John?

  • kitt and michael drove karr nuts when he wanted to be free, and Eddie and John corrupted him with crime...

  • *nods* you're absolutely right. i've thought about that ever since i saw those eps. i kept thinking (still do) that they simply could've brought him back to the Foundation and rewrote his programming to be more like KITT's, but for some reason, they didn't. *shrugs* ah, well.

  • or just let him be free, thats all he wanted :D

  • true, true. i guess we'll never know. unless we ask the original series creator. *shrugs* leave him free, but supervise him. that's what i would've done.

  • This voice was not Peter Cullen. He was the voice for only the first episode K.A.R.R. was in "Trust doesn't Rust"

  • damn i can't believe KARR is coming back in the new series but i hope it's that KARR the old karr

  • i think it is, the guy who voices this karr is voicing the karr in the new series. shame he's not another mustang though.

  • K.A.R.R. is one of my favorite characters from the old show.

  • Another Great scene from a Great episode! Damn! There should've been a K.I.T.T. vs K.A.R.R. part III!

  • There is, check out the new series!

  • I'm sure there would've been if the original series continued into a 5th season.
