one of my latest bright eyes discoveries ... and there have been quite a few. He's one of the best lyricists I've ever encountered. Amazing imagery!! I would parallel him to Dylan, especially in the sense that the quality of their voices isn't the focus. They're not great singers, they're just like anyone else. But they put great emotion behind their words. And their words are usually moving - to me, at least.

its almost like, not even about his voice. because he doesn't try to make it the main focus, you know? its more the way the music intertwines with the lyrics. he's just making it happen, if that makes sense. everything about this song and his work is ingenious. also, his voice is relateable. it's not perfect and tuned. its just, him singing stunning lyrics. same as if you sang the song outloud. but thats what makes his voice perfect at the same time. its just, raw.
