    "Barilla" is the biggest selling brand in Italy; I don't care much for it; DeCecco is way better. and the whole wheat one is better still.

  • I've made this dish several times and it is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. It's kind of like a pasta alfredo, but with a wonderful kick! Highly recommend!

Really think about what you did at 500 degrees, imagine if you would have waited for 10 mins for the baking of the cheese as an actual guest? On top of the 7.5 mins of cook time that would have been 17.5 mins of waiting around for your food. WRONG RECIPE.... and for the msbengal...is that why you don't work there anymore? Its never been RST GLC SC... Plus we don't grill our shrimp... GOOD LUCK!

  • Romano's Penne Rustiche (plural, not "Rustica") IS an attempt at an Italian dish. What language do you think that is? German? And no, Italians usually use basil in tomato sauces for pasta, oregano in tomato sauces for pizza, parsley in fish sauces or soups and rosemary for meat.

    Romano's Penne Rustiche is as Italian as Super Mario Bros, and cloning the dish just makes it even less authentic.

    P.s. I have heard of spray-on cheese, but that doesn't mean I would eat it!
