As big a fan or Trigun as anyone else, I was a little disappointed in the movie. Only Johnny Young Bosch returned and still it was hard for him to replicate Vash's voice, but I love that he tried. and the dialogue, in my opinion, was unsatisfactory. Still, you could tell that the original creator developed the storyline so that was great. overall I watched the movie because I was and still am a fan, but I was a bit sad, but like everyone else I recommend the movie for all Trigun fans (:

I don't really think they should continue with it, he's already killed his brother and in a way the most skilled gunmen in the series. Trying to come up with someone more powerful will turn it into a DBZ rip off. A movie is enough, let the series end as wonderfully as it did.

If this IS canon, it would be taking place between Murder Machine and Diablo. It could work. Gasback had a pretty cool gun, and his personality was meant to distract from the fact that he too was subject to the Laws of Unintended Consequences. I liked it.

Overall this movie was really unecessary. It added nothing to the Trigun storyline, Gasback is a bland villian, and the action scenes weren't that great. But luckily it didn't detract from the series either. Think of it as a 90 minute filler episode, nothing more, nothing less

@TaraKitaideHunter Saw this dubbed in theaters not too long ago. Unfortunately, the only returning actor in this movie is Vash. I was a little upset at first, but the replacements do a wonderful job; you'll forget quickly. The movie definitely isn't perfect (got it's share of ups and downs) but a must watch for any Trigun fan. I personally think the films hilarity makes up for any weak points in the film. The shit has a ton of funny moments in my opinion.

I am so fucking happy to say that yesterday, at 4:25 PM, I watched Trigun Badlands Rumble IN THEATERS. It was so fantastic, the story is superb, and the movie is hilarious. Best new movie I've seen in a long time. The sad part is there was no real advertisement for this movie, so old time fans like me would have to be lucky to find out about it. Another sad thing is Trigun is only playing in a few select cities, and even fewer cities have the movie in english. Thank god I live in Portland. 10/10
