  • The Foot Soldiers are doing more ninja work here than the turtles. You could've entered the sewer midway during the street part of the level, just so you know.

  • I did'nt like this one compared to Fall of the foot. The characters seem to doofy.

  • OMG, i just found this cartridge its been lying around for 7 years :O

  • LOVE this game! so many chidlhood memories. the music was really enjoyable.

  • I loved this game... even though i never had any interest in the turtle franchise...

  • This was the 2nd game I ever owned. The first was Tetris for the Game Boy. Fantastic! Thank you so much for posting this video. Folks I am sad to say that I never ever beat this game. If given a chance now I'm sure I could dominate.

  • dude, i remember clearing this game again and again :D. leonardo was always the last turtle i use everytime i play ^w^

  • The first 7 sec are legendary!

  • Wow, big sprites! Is this game any fun?

  • i love the sound !!!

  • This looks rubbish compared to Fall Of The Foot Clan (which I owned). That shouldnt be.

  • Wish someone would upload the "preboss" music. It's quite awesome.

  • that was such an amazing game!! reminds me of good old gameboy classic games

  • act 1 (music)...cowabunga!

  • man this game brings back so many memories.

  • mmm... old game but cool!

  • o__O

It seems his head is bigger than his body? XD

  • Oh my god, so many childhood GameBoy memories are flooding back. =D

  • me and my little brother played the shit out of this back in the day!

  • i have finished this game for over 1000 times :D

  • Can't argue with that - the environments are pretty cool. It's just the animator side of me that demands more interesting motion and character design. Something that looks like the playable character is actually challenged by the enemies. ;)

  • at 1:37 he should have fell in da sewer he would have said 'who put da light out'. lol still love this game

  • memories!!!!!!!!!

    thx!!!

  • nice

  • Folks... don't complain about the graphics... this was a game made for the original Gameboy for god's sake... besides if you've ever played this game you know how fun it is...

  • This and TMNT Fall of the footclan looked fantastic on the GameBoy. better than any of the TMNT Nes games that's for sure...But i gotta say, i was dissapointed from TMNT II: Back from the sewers...It seemed frusturating at times, the controls didn't feel as good as they did from Fall of the Foot Clan...and the turtles look and walk retarted in this one.lol As simple and shorter as first TMNT gameboy is i felt that i was better than this one.

  • I haven't ever played Fall of the Foot Clan so I don't argue that you're wrong, but I always felt the control in part 2 was very easy and straight forward. it's definately better than the first NES TMNT game!

  • Definitly. But TMNT II and TMNT III on the Nes are better than the gomeboy TMNT games....Even though i havent played TMNT III: Radical Rescue yet, apperantly that game is better than the other 2 GB games, but its so hard to find! ;p

Anyways, TMNT IV: Turtles in Time is hands down the best Turtles game.

Hopefully TMNT Smash-Up for the wii turns out to be awesome as well

  • Did you ever play the TMNT arcade game? It played just like TMNT 4 on SNES except you could play as all 4 turtles at once!!!

  • Man that's one of my fav arcade games of all time, I remember being a kid and playing it all the time at Chucky Cheese or my Corner store, good times ;)

I never beat the Arcade version though, instead I remember renting TMNT II on the Nes, same game with crappier graphics and 2 added in stages. I remember that game was so hard to rent since it was always out, the same goes for Chip and Dale too ;P

  • And now I have TMNT, TMNT II and TMNT II for the Nes, along with TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan and TMNT II: Back from the Sewers for the GameBoy. All i need is TMNT IV: Turtles in time for the Snes, and TMNT III: Radical Rescue for the GameBoy....but damn is that game hard to find, no luck on eBay

  • I believe you mean the SNES version played like the Arcade game except you couldn't freakin' use 4 turtles at once.

  • well yes. I just worded it the way I did in case someone had not played the arcade game, but had played tmnt 4.

  • OMG!! look at raphael!! he looks liked a zombie !!Looll

  • What a lazy bunch of game artists - the animation (or lack thereof) makes me sad. But fortunately, as it is a Turtles game, the background music is fun stuff.

  • This game rocks. Such a classic!

  • Then don't watch.

  • I got this, Battletoads (GB), and Double Dragon (GB) for my birthday when I was 8 and I still have em all, including Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Tetris, Wave Race, and Ninja Gaiden Shadow.

  • I haven't played this game, but the controls looks stiff as hell. The game itself seems to be ridiculously boring.

  • yeah right I have never seen this game in gameboy.

  • this must be the most one-dimensional platformer ever. you never move up or down, the whole world is flat.

and the jump kick looks like shIt :)

  • theres tons of different levels in this game. the second act has u fighting on a rocketpowered skateboard, theres one where u fight on a elevator, where u can move UP and DOWN.

  • This reminds me of an nes game called "Kung Fu". Funny.

  • I loved this game and hated it. The shredder is a pain in the ass to beat. No Saves. So you are commited

  • This is an instant classic. Sad to say, its hard to find games like these nowdays.

  • omg.. this beats all the nowadays games... and im serious

  • wow thats all I have to say wow.

  • This is how a real TMNT game should look like

  • THIS IS EASY

  • uff, que tiempos aquellos

  • Nice show, but the NES Turtles II is much better.

  • lool , this game reminds me , when i was 4 or 5 or something, i couldnt read at this time, but i always played this!

    great remembrence =)

  • I loved this game as a kid. I still have it somewhere. The music was awesome, and the bosses were great. One of the better Ninja Turtle games if you ask me.

  • wow fue mi segundo juego de game boy.....

    thanks!! xd!!

  • This was the first game I played on the Game Boy. Roughly about 13yrs ago.Still love the tune.

  • I was looking for this so delightful tune they played when you pressed PAUSE. I've remembered to look for it all those years. And playing this game looks like it requires as much brain-death as the turtle your controlling. Thank god for adulthood.

  • I have this game. It was my second TMNT game I owned (first was TMNT 2: Arcade Game) This is by far my favorite one on the Game Boy. Ahh, the memories.

  • Haha.. splinter runs the pizza joint.

  • Yeah Old School, love the music on the street and of course the footman explode sound, legendary

  • I always thought the turtles looked weird in this one, but it was alright, TMNT 3 radical rescue is my favorite.
