You know if I had that kind of money I would love to have a elaborate wedding too but with all honesty I think she could have done without the seven dresses, and honestly I love to eat but a TWELVE course meal is a bit much for any human to handle. Oh well their money is feeding the people who they are paying so I guess it's being put to good use in a strange way...
Honestly, having money doesnt meant that you automatically have taste. Had it been be with those funds, I would have went a different way with my choices, but it has become obvious to me that most ppl with lots of money ...have no idea what to do with it
I wish I was her wedding planner her cut on this is so huge she can take off the rest of the year. I'm all for doing what you want on your wedding day and if you have the money do you, but it just seems like she is more interested in the cost of everything than the point of the event them working things out and saving their family. Hope they make it.

I think if the people that are commenting about the money that is spent, actually had the finances as the people on Platinum Wedding...there comments would be totally different. How do any of us know that they aren't giving $700000 to charity every year if not more?

350,000 for food and berverages only????? WTF???? I know is HER wedding, but if i want to throw away money, i should start with giving it to poor people.

Its there money, there business how they spend it. The money they or people like them spend helps the economy. The people that make the food, the clothes and the place they had this event it in etc...have to make money so that they can afford to keep there workers, to prevent them from being laid off. So its a good thing that rich people spend. It helps other people who actually need it.
Don't hate because you could never afford to spend $10,000 on your entire wedding. If they have the money, who's right is it to say anything? You only live once! If you can afford it, more power! Next time do 12 different outfits just for all the haters reading.

Just when I thought I saw it all at weddings, I stumble across this absurb abuse of money & time spent for a one day event. I would have to agree with the previous post-even if I had the funds to do this-I wouldn't. That is out-right insane! She's right, everyone will remember the circus that came to town!
I love this show but some of the people featured on here go really over the top stupid with their money. I mean, 7 dresses each costing $45,000, a 12-course meal? "I just can't live with myself if I don't get the best caviar"? Come on...really. But, there are some people on this show are just really sweet rich people. I can just picture Lana being a real Bridezilla.
