@ghoststride I agree Hami is stupid. Rikit Mothership raid is fun. The expansion coming up is adding Incarnate levels as an end game, and a ton of new outdoors content that you do to get those incarnate levels, as well as adding an alternate leveling path with new maps (and this isn't even talking about Architect, which we already have).

Also WoW has stats and gem sockets on gear, much like champions online does. This game (CoH) does not. When i played CoH it was back when the PvE was dead and PvP was all that i had left. Once I hit the top of that though and City of Villains came out with same powers for villians and some different sets here and there I was done. The game sucks.. Dont trust me? then go blow 30+ bucks buy it an w8 like 10 hours for updates to dl til u get to play it for 2 hours an verdict it.

wow is too much into the gear and all that crap. yes i want to have the 'gear' but i dont want my whole entire gameplay depend on it. besides this has gotten ALOT better. have you even been in an 8 man team at around lvl's 20ish+ and done some good mission arcs? go back to wow and waste time buying,farming,or making your 'gear' for 5 hours.

@GamersMinion Plus WoW is SOOOOO GRINDASTIC! You have to fucking walk everywhere and it takes FOREVER TO LEVEL! In this game you only to be level 14 to get a travel power and you don't need to rely on fucking mounts to get places quickly; you can just do it yourself. Plus, there are way more character customization options in this game than in friggin' WoW, where you're limited to changing what hair you have or stupid robe you wear. ooooo, fun... :/

@aliG2500 ok i've gotta disagree with you on that. i've *never* had to grind. the only problems i had a hard time with is finding where to go for the quest. it'd take me half an hour just to find where to go for the quest. then it'd take another half an hour for me to get all 20 items. or longer. but there's 2 things about both games. after a while in CoH it's starts getting boring and hard to level on your own unless you can bump it up ALOT. and most players (including me) cant do that. but...

@GamersMinion but it doesnt madder what level you are. you could be level 1 playing with friends that have level 50's and the xp wont alter whatsoever. you just get bumped up to level 49 so long you're in the team. whereas in wow it's more for people on their own. excluding the near-finished levels you get 2 levels higher than a friend and you guys cant quest together. you can barely do dungeons together. CoH is a more friends/family game and wow is more of a soloing game.

@GamersMinion what are you talking about?! its all about the grind in wow! you have to take out soooooo many guys in order to level, and each fight feels exactly the same as the last; in CoH there is actual variety and fun in each battle and you really have a lot more fun moves to pull of on enemies. in WoW you just get boring spells or boring combat moves that don't look all that special and take forever to kill dudes :/ SNORE. fireball, so original. oh wait! now there's...iceball! woopdidoo!

Speking of getting RoA perma, mine is down to 23.?? sec and I am slotted fairly heavy. Maybe I could get her down to 15 or so if I changed some sets to purps, but dont think I would get it lower than 12 sec max with hasten, but no way in RV that I would get Hasten perma also.

RoA = best nuke in game I would say.

There's a maximum amount of recharge that you can apply to something, I think RoA would be capped before you ever got to 12 seconds.

CoH/CoV was a great game that lacked any kind of end game content outside of imbalanced PvP up to Issue:10 when I stopped playing. It was however still a great game and seems to have received a lot of new content since then.

I:14 intrigues me w/ the custom mission editor and browser.

However, Champions Online I expect to completely overshadow CoH/CoV. It is to be expected.

None the less they will still be to separate games even though I'm sure they'll continuously be compared.

Oh yes you can play with other people. The game is mostly geared toward team play. Mostly in teams up to 8 but there are a few game events that require three or four full teams of 8.

There's also City of Villains which is more solo play oriented "in theory" because all the classes are damage oriented. But really, they rock in teams as well.

You HAVE to play this online. You cannot play it offline. Playing solo missions doesn't mean you're offline, you're still connected to the same servers everyone else is, and that is where your characters are stored and tracked.

5 Purple sets. That may do it actually but it wouldn't be 1 second recharge. Though, I've seen a blaster with 5 Purple sets use hasten every 3 seconds.
