  • 1:05 COOLEST thing about Dime he was NOT a SHOWOFF - rather he made you feel like we're all brothers in the craft. RIP this BADASS, BEST METAL G EVER!!!

  • Thumb up if u too wanna spot that unique dumbass fag who clicked "I dont like it" !!!

  • Dime played for no one but himself. As all artists should do. OUT!

  • if I was listening to him playing, 'quit it' would be the last thing i'd say

  • @homesnake202 your toattly right hell yeah he does

  • He makes that little piece of shit amp sound like gold.

  • Thank you again, NRA, and gun humping fux all over America.

Real FREEDOM one gets with fucking guns huh?

You also got Lennon 24 years earlier to the day.

  • @ROOKTABULA Oh yes because prohibition has always worked splendidly, just look out how well it's doing with drugs

  • am i the only 1 who noticed that he was playin through a marshall micro amp?

  • Wow. 19,564 views and not a single dislike, and fucking rightfully so. That has to be a record for youtube. RIP Dime.

  • Dude what the fuck is going on in the background ?

  • are those dimebuckers active or why do they have so much sustaine?

  • @elwulfo666 they're passive. anyways, stustain always comes first from the guitar

  • @rizzometal92 yeah but those activ pu's have such low magnetic power that you have sustain just like forever

  • @elwulfo666 yes you're right, they're built like that, but i said just generally that sustain comes first from good or bad construction of the guitar, and then from everything else. =)

  • the tuning is c#

  • @Deathm3t4l95 Nah it's D standard at roughly a 420 frequency if you have a fancy tuner

  • @Deathm3t4l95 nope quater step down

  • damn i was born in 93

  • @crscdn me to man an i was born in dallas texas=]

  • This guy was the best riffer ever. He was a beast at guitar. I have never seen ANYONE do squeals like he did.

  • @gibsonrock53 indeed he was a beast

  • i ordered the riffer madness book off of amazon, did i make a good choice

  • Hell yeah man! I got that at Best Buy. Best damn twenty I ever dropped. Full of amazing things. The only problem I have with it is one part in the Floods outro section they messed it up. Other than that, 5 horns out of 5! Read on man!

  • thanks dude, i actually bought it i while back, it is the best damn guitar book ive ever read, comin from the best damn player to grace this earth

  • i dont know shit about tuning. i dont know shit about playing. All i know is i love watchin this guy play and i love his music. Amazing player even better guy. Not much else i can say that has not been said you know? fuckin sucks that he is gone and sucks even more the way he was taken. Miss you man.

  • @IIIIIII77IIIIIII lets just say this shit isnt easy.... really fuckin hard which makes him a legend , ive been playing for about 2 years now and still cant play a dimebag solo .... if that tells you anything .

  • @megadethpwnsTallica haha, fuck dude.. lets be honest, i've been playing for about 9 years and i can still barely play the walk solo, Dime is a monster.

  • @PutzGuitar1 i feel ur pain man

  • he cant play it slow! that's why i LOVE THIS GUY!

    RIP

  • D-G-C-F-A-D ?

  • yea. most idiots play this song in drop d. its d standard along with a new level.

  • it's C# + 40 ;)

  • You are right.

I just play it in D standard though. :D

  • Nope. It's D + 1/4. Weird ass tuning, but the untrained ear won't hear the difference.

  • the chords at 2:25 are: B/D#, E5, Db/F

    those are "two note chords"

  • Jag kom fram till nåt sånt men det lät inte rätt först men du har nog rätt...

  • I believe that you get the sound when you can control the vibrato well on both strings at the same time. Many bands get the same effect you know when they play lead melodys round' the lower pitch range and use lots of vibrato, the difference is that then it's two players who only needs to "vibe" one note at once but dime is obviously good at make doublestopvibrato come out sounding great:) Aw'yeah

  • coolt , en svensk! lolol

  • watch my video response on how to tune just like Dime did to C# + 40

    it's 100% correct ;)

    R.I.P Dime

  • Actually, he was playing with a temperated tuning, which makes the 1st and 6th string + 40, but not the other strings.

  • I love this video. So raw, and just fucking metal. RIP

  • god damnit i thought he was gonna do it slow. lol

  • What a fuckin champion he was.

  • what a player

  • did anyone see the amp hes playing thru

look at far left bottom from :40 to :53

  • lol :D

  • thats an old incredibly little model Marshall did back in the day... kinda of a ''Pocket Marshall''... they were cool... u cant tell the sound trhough the video, but the tone was awesome... stupid me i didnt get one when theyre still out, theyre AWESOME.

  • dude they are still out i saw some for around 40 bucks at guitar center

  • yeah, lol... i posted here, next video i went through was THE amp, lol

nice to know it....definetly my next money burner!

  • i have the double-stack version of the 'pocket marshall' - it's great fun!!

  • wow! huehue.....yeah, i can imagine, thats very cool!

  • they still have those they are still for sale what are you talking about

  • its hanging on his guitar in the beginning

  • holy shit

    thanks for pointin it out

    he was amazing

  • i think this video proves walk is played tuned down a whole step, not drop d... which i wanted to know
