1:05 COOLEST thing about Dime he was NOT a SHOWOFF - rather he made you feel like we're all brothers in the craft. RIP this BADASS, BEST METAL G EVER!!!
@elwulfo666 yes you're right, they're built like that, but i said just generally that sustain comes first from good or bad construction of the guitar, and then from everything else. =)
Hell yeah man! I got that at Best Buy. Best damn twenty I ever dropped. Full of amazing things. The only problem I have with it is one part in the Floods outro section they messed it up. Other than that, 5 horns out of 5! Read on man!
i dont know shit about tuning. i dont know shit about playing. All i know is i love watchin this guy play and i love his music. Amazing player even better guy. Not much else i can say that has not been said you know? fuckin sucks that he is gone and sucks even more the way he was taken. Miss you man.
@IIIIIII77IIIIIII lets just say this shit isnt easy.... really fuckin hard which makes him a legend , ive been playing for about 2 years now and still cant play a dimebag solo .... if that tells you anything .
@megadethpwnsTallica haha, fuck dude.. lets be honest, i've been playing for about 9 years and i can still barely play the walk solo, Dime is a monster.
I believe that you get the sound when you can control the vibrato well on both strings at the same time. Many bands get the same effect you know when they play lead melodys round' the lower pitch range and use lots of vibrato, the difference is that then it's two players who only needs to "vibe" one note at once but dime is obviously good at make doublestopvibrato come out sounding great:) Aw'yeah
thats an old incredibly little model Marshall did back in the day... kinda of a ''Pocket Marshall''... they were cool... u cant tell the sound trhough the video, but the tone was awesome... stupid me i didnt get one when theyre still out, theyre AWESOME.

elwulfo666 1 year ago
@elwulfo666 they're passive. anyways, stustain always comes first from the guitar
rizzometal92 1 year ago
@rizzometal92 yeah but those activ pu's have such low magnetic power that you have sustain just like forever
elwulfo666 1 year ago
@elwulfo666 yes you're right, they're built like that, but i said just generally that sustain comes first from good or bad construction of the guitar, and then from everything else. =)

awesomenessness1792 2 years ago
You are right.
I just play it in D standard though. :D
InVaZi0n 2 years ago
Nope. It's D + 1/4. Weird ass tuning, but the untrained ear won't hear the difference.

the chords at 2:25 are: B/D#, E5, Db/F
those are "two note chords"

watch my video response on how to tune just like Dime did to C# + 40
it's 100% correct ;)
R.I.P Dime
awesomenessness1792 2 years ago
Actually, he was playing with a temperated tuning, which makes the 1st and 6th string + 40, but not the other strings.
