  • @MIZZOUbeCHILL Yeah, same lyrics, same song. But Pancho is more acoustic than Sal, obviously. Either way, both tracks are kick-ass. Love this album.

  • same lyrics as pancho villa?

  • That guitar solo shreds! Go, man, go!!!! :-)

  • I get excited whenever the first few guitar notes blast out of my car's stereo when I'm driving. Great song.

  • if the desert were music this is how it would sound.

  • @ripelivejam wrong that would be kyuss

  • @kitsune10000 wrong that would be Ennio Morricone

  • I don't know who was the greatest Mexican boxer of all time. I just know that this cat apparently (at least according to the song) had not 1, but 2 of the coolest nicknames of all time:

    1. Sweet Warrior

    2. (Even Better) Pure Magic Matador!

  • @richmonksgtr Sanchez died when he was 23 and is ranked the 2nd greatest mexican fighter after JCC.To be honest i dont think i have ever heard anyone call Sanchez either of those nicknames he was called sal or chava.RIP Sanchez

  • @paquaio09 Cool. Then I am totally stealing those nicknames for myself! :D

  • @richmonksgtr haha they are actually when i think about it

  • this is the best song i have ever heard in my entire life ever

  • una mendiga cochinada perrossssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @666demostenes666 esperabas un corrido o algo asi o que?

  • good song bitch

  • Salvador Sanchez arguably the best top ten with his young age could have been #1, but im glad so many other Mexican boxers have taken the mantel year after year decade after decade remaing on p4p lists,

    Salvador Sanchez

    Julio C. Chavez

    Ricardo Lopez

    Juan Manuel Marquez

    Olivares

    Erik Morales

    Barrera

R.I.P "Chava' you made us all proud.

Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding..............................................

  • no other boxer like Salvador Sanchez has Mexico give birth to yet. descanse en paz.

    "Chava", "Sal" , Salvador Sanchez.

  • fukkin amazin read yo history people.

  • the greatest mexican boxer and at only 23 years of age, he could of became the best fighter ever!

  • Sal was great, but because of his early death, one CANNOT consider him the greatest mexican fighter ever while at the same time using REASON and LOGIC. That honor goes to Julio Cesar Chavez. People who say Sal was the greatest are caught up in the romantic point of view. Sal lived fast, died young, and had a good-looking corpse. Had we gotten to see him grow old...and mortal, and seen him lose his prime and get old like Chavez, perhaps then,it wouldn't be the cool thing to say, that he was best.

  • @TheChoice264 let me put it this way he had the same exact record as the great roberto duran at the age of 23 so if you think about it i think he would have been just as great as the legend roberto manos de pierda duran

  • Hey brother, i agree. Sal couldve been the greatest ever. HE IS one of the greatest ever...and this is what makes his story so sweet, yet so tragic. God blessed Sal. But... the greatest goes to J.C. SuperStar. It isnt Sal's fault...but it isnt J.C's either. Sal would be proud of Julio. Julio carried the honor that Sal's early death presented. I'm not saying one was greater than the other...only that Julio is the LIVING legend and had to withstand the enduring chill that life beckons. He aged.

  • @01manarmy87 Sorry,Julio Cesar Chavez is the greatest mexican fighter to ever live. It's time we lose the James Dean fantasy with Sanchez and put things in their proper perspective. Sal is a case of what couldve been. He was still a good champion and a great fighter.

  • @TheChoice264 Jjaa You funny, what could have been? Salvador beat Champ Danny Lopez 2 times,Juan Laporte,Wilfredo Gomez,Azumah Nelson,Ruben Castillo at the tender age of 23 and younger.A case of what could have been jajaa. He never did reach the peak of his mental and physical prowess, what MORE could there have been if he never left us?

  • @josemezatorrez According to YOU,he never reached his peak. That in itself raises the question of "what could've been". C'mon man, step your game up!

  • @TheChoice264 That is what scary about Salvador Sanchez, that he was still so YOUNG and geatting better, what he accomplished in 23 yrs of life is more that what the mayority of boxers do in their entire carrers. You seem not to realize and acknowledge that they faced him with veteran Champion fighters and defeated them in impressive manner at a very young age. What could have been!?this is not Edwin Valero the Venesuelan guy that commited suicide and they already call him a legend for what?.

  • @josemezatorrez How do you know he was getting BETTER. All evidence, and a little logic suggests he was at his peak at death. A very green, and inexperienced Azumah Nelson gave him all he could handle in only his 13th fight or whatever. This was Sal's last fight, and hardly evidence of "getting better". I agree that he accomplished more by 23 than most boxers do in an entire career. Lopez was great but on his way out. Gomez was a great bantam but MOVED UP to challenge Sal.

  • @TheChoice264 Gomez moved up in weight to challenge Sanchez? So now you making up excuses for Gomez losing? So what if Gomez moved up a few lbs,Sanchez also moved up in weight to challenge Champion Danny Lopez who KO the great Ruben Olivares.Sanchez TKO Lopez not once but twice.Asumah Nelson was the Champ of Africa and he was 22 yrs old and Sal was 23 dont blame Sal for Asumah not fighting enough fights, dude caught Sal by surprise and he was fresh and young and still got KO for the first time

  • @josemezatorrez You make good points. I'm not making excusues for Gomez. Sal kicks his ass everyday of the week, regardless of anything. I know that. You're right about the surprise too. Azumah should be glad Sal never got another date with him. Sal woulda fucked him good. Look, in all honesty, i love the fighter that was one SALVADORE SANCHEZ. R.I.P I just like giving different points of view for the sake of learning from others and maybe they from me. Peace

  • @TheChoice264 Glad you understood my point of view,he was great and maybe he did reach his physical peak but not his mental peak,I am sure eventually he would have been out classed by someone better if he had lived on but I agree that boxing fans missed out in many more great fights by Sal and I am sure he had a few more outstanding performances to give.

  • @josemezatorrez Actually, im more impressed with his wins over LaPorte and Castillo. They were the most dangerous fighters he ever fought in truth. As far as Valero. Edwin Valero was a great fighter. We'll never know how great he could've been. He is a legend to his people and we should all respect that. Compared to Salvadore Sanchez.....that's not even fair. Sanchez is in another league. OF COURSE HE WAS NO SALVADORE SANCHEZ! But its still sad. What a waste. His poor child.

  • @TheChoice264 Good idea,Valero(RIP) was a Legend to his people, just llike Salvador Sanchez(RIP) was a legend to Mexican people, respect that too.So you really believe Sal reached his peak at 23? Well I will disagree, never heard of human being/athlete peaking at 23 yrs young and go downhill, thats crazy talk my friend.George Foreman became Champ at 167yrs old and Duran moved up 40lbs and at the age of 30 and over to challenge and beat natural middles and welters,Ray,Barkley,Moore.

  • @josemezatorrez I DO think he reached his peak at 23. Sal was in his prime and,i believe, had peaked. Now, he could've carried that peak for years and years. We'll never know. What was there to improve upon? He was at his peak. All we missed out on was him fighting future great fights against guys that would've provided him to use his skills in ways we had not yet,or ever got to see. Imagine him against Arguello,Chavez.Whitaker,Pryor,etc. They would've brought out the best in him.

  • @josemezatorrez Also, you never heard of a fighter reaching his peak at 23 and go downhill? Two words...MIKE TYSON. Tyson had more skill at 19 than he did at 25. He started to decline even before he went to prison. Foreman and Duran were great fighters at an older age but NOT the fighters they were in their prime. Duran was a freak, and so was Foreman. Chavez and Arguello were freaks. Sal was a freak and i'm sure he would've moved up in weight very well,OR would he have ended up like Aaron Pryor?

  • @TheChoice264 Jaja Yes they were extraordinary fighters or freaks for there blessed talent. What I love the most of Salvador was his love of boxing, look at Salvador face of joy before he is about to face one of the most dangerous fighters ever, Gomez had a 99.% KO ratio, and Sal looks so calm and self-confident.When he was in battle with Asumah he was so relax, chilling out and looked like he never messed up his hair, while Asumah almost died in the ring, much respect to the" proffesor" too.

  • @TheChoice264 Whats your viewpoint on this Pacman vs Mayweather circus superfight that sadly might never happen?

  • @TheChoice264 Wilfred Benitez, youngest World champion in history at 17yrs old in 1976, by the time Leonard beat him in 79, he was going down hill! now that is young to slide!

  • @josemezatorrez Wilfred Benitez was finished by 20yrs of age! A 3 weight world champion.
