It certainly has aged better than most of his earlier output from that decade even though he was moving into Richard Marx territory here. The sound of a mandolin must bring out his inspiration. I believe this was last hit song for Rod where he was involved in songwriting. On later albums he increasingly turned to other writers and has not written at all since We Were New Boys in 1998.

I have googled princess exiled 1 and find her to be a troubled individual. Only my opinion. NOT one of the girls in this video. Was just noticing the iced tea dispenser I used to get tea out of on the backbar behind Rod's right arm as he's pouring a glass full and the photos to the right of him, as I recall, WERE of one of our bartenders. A VERY nice lady, Marilynn, from Argentina. Damn this brings back a lot of memories. Usually, standing room only on Wed, Fri, and Sat. Nights. : ) : (

I just had to ask because there just might have been a chance she did dance at the Oddball when she was mentally stable 21 years ago. Drugs have to be the factor in her case. Anyway, the blonde girl is gorgeous! I would give anything to see what she looks like today, and where life has taken her. I already know who the other girls are in the video, but the blonde is very mysterious! Can't find her! lol
