Magic. Reminds me of Oxford. Our school nativity was held in Cuddesdon church when Robert Runcie was still our village vicar. I didn't like mince pies and I wasn't allowed sherry, but the weak orange squash in paper cups and digestive biscuits were as good as a feast afterwards - and then walk home across the fields with mum and dad, and hope that the fire was still in. Simple pleasures.
we sing this every year at our schools christmas lunch when the pudding is brought in; only by the men. still have difficulty pronouncing some of the latin.
B+R+E+A+T+H+T+A+K+I+N+G+L+Y B+E+A+U+T+I+F+U+L !!! If only all the warmongers of this world would stop in their tracks and just really LISTEN to this deeply inspired music - war would cease to be!
@gab21113 At the very least, music WILL stop us in our tracks. - And it is a known fact that on our death beds, hearing is the last of the senses to abandon us, as all the windows to this world are being closed,
Wonderful

Brilliant!! Anything Maddy Prior or Steelyeye Span does is always great. Love the a capella beginning. Rousing, Xmassy stuff.

@kuifjeenbobbie Yeah. But what's the betting it'll be Wizzard and Slade et al as usual. Bring back the old carols, I say, like this great one.

Fantastic song.

@KateFan Second that, I LOVE this version of Boar's head. Especially around 10 secs, when Maddy comes in.
