Hey guys, I have a question that I'm sure you could probably answer. I'm about to make a huge investment... i can't go over 4000 dollars, but I want to get he les paul of my dreams. That dream guitar, would be the les paul that has the biggest, fattest, thickest, and warmest -throaty tone a les paul can offer for that price or under. My battle was between the Traditional standard, the 58 reissue, and the les paul custom. PLEASE HELP!!!! i dont have access to trying these guitars around me
@RFV410 DEFINITELY get the 58 reissue. Its got a thick neck, its great for clean and distorted but it isnt muddy. Beautiful colour, good sounding pickups. All for under 4000.

Nice T-Shirt chappers - I was wondering if you could do a review of the epiphone les paul tribute 1960 i just picked one up and was wondering your take on it. Thanks.
One of my favorite guitars, ever. Thin neck, fast as a shark, ssssmooooth neck p-up, mega azzkickin bridge P-up, great electronics. Too bad you sold this to your pal
Hey I bought a Les Paul Classic used a few months ago and the truss rod cover is plain black without 'Classic' engraved on it. Do they not come like that anymore, or do you think the previous owner kept it? Wtf.
I use 12 in standard tuning and I have no problems whatsoever. You get used to them. I am sure I could get used to 13 gauge, even in standard tuning, in about a day or two..
hey rob can you do a review on this guitar.you know some metal sounds and some shreding. im looking into one of these is it suited for metal and shred.
it is very very suited for metal shred. most likely what gibson had in mind when making this because it has slimist neck on a les paul i have ever played its super fast and has great pickups in it so if you bought this it is shred worthey in my opinion.
I want to see THAT guitar and some heavy blues licks or something like that, because those strings are full of TONE! Any other videos to see somewhere?
Nice video Chappers! The Lee is amazing! But I have a question, what kind of guitar would you recommend for Stoner Rock (ala Qotsa/ Kyuss)? Gibson les Paul of course, but what are some alternatives? Maybe the Hofner Verythin?
takes the wood further away from your fingers. bends, slides, legato are easier, but you need to develop a light touch or you'll fret out of tune. jumbo frets do a similar thing.
man your mistake selling it........ les pauls are THE best ever!!. well thats an opinion i guess. but les pauls have the squeal factor. awesome video man
1:35...wtf....thats the guitar I just asked you bout on your forum. Guess you still do have it, Don't like the scallopped-ness of the fretboard, that new?
I use to play a Les paul, I sold my SG, but my new favorite is deffinately the Explorer. The most balance guitar I've ever played, same kind of tone than the V.
Is Lee's strat your old one Rob? I think I remember you having a black SSS Fender Strat, but I can't recall if it was a maple or rosewood fingerboard. And if so the full scallop is new, MIRITE?
What year is this one?
