Why are people whining about them being arrogant? They are one, if not THE only Belgian rock band I know to claim international fame and stay so down to earth. Tom is one of the friendliest guys in the (Belgian) business.

dEUS.. just another Belgium topclass band, great perfomers as well. Looking forward to the Werchter and Lowlands festival.

Belgium unbelieveble, the people there talk like dummies, they dont look that clever, healty and clean as well but they rock as hell... thats whats counts.

you're right, my original post isn't.

I've had a couple of great holidays in Belgium, mussels in wine in Bruges was a revelation to someone raised on steak and kidney pudding, and the friendly people there made it such a shock when I saw an arrogant bunch of people from that country act like no other I had seen in that situation. I know a few Belgians from various places and they are nice people, just the ones in Deus who left a bad taste. The bass player mostly.

Well my band was lucky enough to support dEUS round Europe a couple of years ago and I've no idea what tomupnolid's mates problem is but I can tell you for sure that the fault will lie squarely with him..

dEUS were just about the nicest bunch of guys it's been our pleasure to play with. Never have we had a band be so actively friendly and accommodating to us as support band, we loved every minute of the tour and didn't see even a hint of "Belgian arrogance", so what's your story tonupnolid?
