I however, don't trivialize degrees simply because IF one has truly been educated, then they have also been trained to think critically and to use their judgment to draw conclusions about the patterns that they observe. It is no different than being an accomplished athlete, or musician. It is about preparing the mind to perform at a high level.

I pity you for stepping on the toes of a man who knows history has a degree in it- and one who has studied the social scientific demographics of race and racism- Not to mention years of independent study. From my recall of history -- it was the Arab muslims who ramped up the Sub Saharan African slave trade hundreds of years before the Europeans got involved. You are wrong about the racial classification system. The system that is used today WAS created by Europeans in social sciences, biological sciences, and humanities.

Race has always been used to disadvantage Black people. All the studies say so. If Blacks were so advantaged by race - they would be the wealthiest group in USA. @Grendo147 Is this really true? Black children were often sold and transferred to other plantations all the time as were parents. Have you ever read the history of slavery? Now if you want to talk about the post-slavery effort - you may have a point.  Don't start misrepresenting slavery. You assuming that slave owners operated by keeping families together. Especially when slave owners were having sex and impregnating Black women.
