Ive quickly gazed over the comments and not one person interpretatied the lyrics the way I have. Due to use of Sumerian imagery a lot on this album, I'd say that this song (and the album) has thematicaly a lot to do with the rise of human civilisation.More specifically, this song deals with humans rising over the rest of animals with their mind (the virtues of the beast). It reminds me of the metaphor used in epic of Gilgamesh when Enkidu is rejected by animal world for being tainted with reason

Some clean vocals reminds me Raï chants and some other songs like Mechanical Babylon, have middle-east atmosphere and lyrics. Of course it's subjective and of course it isn't a main caracteristic of Septic Flesh's music. (When I say Oriental, I mean middle-east, like Iran, Israël, not China, India or Japan...)
