I didn't know you could do this. In the second game you can air assassinate from the tops of buildings as long as they are not too high, and ledges and stuff. Plus you can air assassinate two guards at once.
the worst thing about this game is that it's just too easy........if your a good player no one can ever kill you cuZ u got te advantage with the hidden blade and the knife and stuff...the only thing guards can do is just block!!!................but i think the game producers corrected their mistake in AC2.

it helps if you attack after they chase you. not chasing just a few meters, but really chasing you. then run up a wall and mash attack as they approach. also explore different places for this technique. guards respond differently depending on surroundings, and some places will be more prone to making guards turn around. hope this helps.
these kill animations are the exact same ones that are used for ordinary "air-to-assassinate" maneuvers that most players use while Anonymous. the only difference here is that these air-to-assassinations are done while in Open Conflict.

I normally find webcams and the like to be annoying, but the quality in this video is very good for it not being a capture card/from a DVD recorder. There's really no reason to complain. You displayed a unique take on combat!
OK, that said, I do have a DVD recorder, but there is only so much time in a day, and I have to prioritize... I'm just trying to share what I know to make the game more enjoyable for others. I hope you can enjoy AC more now that you know how to air to assassinate in combat, despite my button mashing sounds.
